What had begun as a regular hunting trip became Keegan stopping off to gather water, and that became her utter fascination with the creature she'd spotted. She was squatting down by the edge of the water, canteen in one hand and makeshift water filter in the other, and for once, the ever-present furrow in her brow was absent. She looked... awed, watching the silvery little creature twist to and fro in the shallows.

Some of you do this already, but others might need a bit of a verbal confirmation to let them know that they are more than allowed to do so. When I put a lot of effort into something, I really do enjoy when it sparks the need to turn things into threads with people. Whatever random situation I put our muses in normally something that I’ve wanted to write for a while, and I assume that you do too because you sent me the thing in the first place!

When had she ever called him by name? Keegan's laser rifle was slung over her back as they trudged along, and she shaded her eyes for a moment against the morning sun. The desert hadn't heated up yet, but they'd have to keep that in mind.

There was a pause, as Keegan's eyes glanced between his rifle, and the door. She quirked a brow, and a look of almost concern crossed her features. It was odd, the fact that she wasn't looking at him with disdain for once.

And, she thought, perhaps it would help to get his mind off of whatever was keeping him so... tense. His words lacked their usual bite, and it was a little unnerving.

;; ...man, playing FO4 as Niner is funny as hell because getting to Nuka-World is just hilarious. This woman has no fucking idea what's going on. She got on a train thinking she could help a guy save his friends and then got roped into a hellish labyrinth beyond her comprehension and is basically in tears the entire time. Some old grimy guy ropes her into killing his boss and then makes her the new boss. She does not know what the fuck she is doing. No one here knows her name. She has been fighting for her life since day fucking one. She is surrounded by raiders and none of the captives believe her when she says she just wants to help. She's the only one here who knows how to use a computer. She still doesn't know how to read a fucking clock
