“Hm,” at his answer the Zora’s claw curled before her ruby lips. Something akin to a laugh rose into her throat as she closed her eyes. The princess’ shoulders trembled with the sound and she believed that she finally understood.
“Forgive me,” was spoken behind a cage formed by her fingers. “I, I’m afraid I understand you perfectly.” She understood now why her teammate and the object of her affection knocked heads like the rams that frolicked atop the mountains.
“Revali,” she calmed herself. “Forgive me please that was most inappropriate I,” she dropped her hand atop her thighs and smiled up at him. Her sharp teeth glistened as she dropped her regal persona. For the briefest moment she didn’t look like a Champion but like a young girl.
“I suppose that is an answer that heroes give no matter who they are and no matter where they come from,” she sounded refreshed. With a newfound gusto she nodded, “I’m pleased to have met you.”
-- Revali was a bit taken back by the Zora’s laughing, he didn’t really understand what he said that was so funny. He also felt a bit flustered, feeling himself get a bit nervous. Never the less Revali chuckled quietly, silently enjoying being able to make the girl giggle. He sighed and turned away, crossing his wings and staring at his previously injured foot. He noticed the Zora girls smile from the corner of his green eyes. A smile was formed on Revali’s face as he kept his eyes on his foot.
❝ I’m glad I met you as well, you’re much...calmer then the other champions ❞ The Rito mumbled, hesitating his words. He wasn’t used to giving others compliments, and he wasn’t too fond of it.

-- Revali tilted his head, suddenly intrigued. He crossed his wings and looked away. What could be so serious that Leaf could be executed? Revali thought Leaf might’ve been overreacting, nothing could be that serious. The Rito scoffed and looked down at his injured wing, seeing the blood seep through the bandages. He looked back up at Leaf, mainly looking at the injury the Rito caused. He sighed, feeling a tad bit bad for hurting the male. Revali opened his beak to speak, but hesitated slightly.
❝ I promise, but you must tell me all of it ❞
The imposter had been placed in a spare living quarter and was laying in a hammock until he was fit enough to walk again. He was sleeping rather well despite the pain he just went through until he suddenly had two feathery, firm hands on his shoulders shaking him roughly awake. He was so startled that he fell out of the hammock and onto the wooden floor. As he was recovering from the fall, he found himself face to face with the feathered torso of the navy blue Rito and the sheen of metal leading to his neck.
The boy was overwhelmed with fear and he backed away until his back hit some shelves, toppling books onto his head. “I don’t want anything to do with your tribe!” He cried, “I-I was just looking for someone to help me find a new bow and you were my first thought!” There was a look of fear in his eyes as he stared directly into Revali’s emerald orbs. “I didn’t mean for it to go like this!”
– Revali narrowed his eyes and placed the sword down. He picked up the male and placed him back in the hammock, feeling a bit bad for jerking him awake. He sighed and looked at the imposter in the eyes, the Rito’s face and posture seemed threatening. Revali’s body was stiff, wings crossed. ❝ So all you wanted was help finding a new bow? ❞ Revali seemed a bit confused. He looked away and glanced at the floor. ❝ Can you tell me who you are…Or will I have to threaten you again? ❞ Revali laughed slightly.

– Revali watched as clouds upon clouds rolled over one another, as if the air was creating waves. Clouds soon turned to wisps of air, which soon faded into the bright blue sky. Soon the sky was blue, a nice, peaceful blue. As the scenery calmed his nerves he stood up, pushing his body off the ground with little to no strength. Pulling out his bow he sighed, what better way to spend this peaceful afternoon then a bit of target practice? No harm in training after all. He pulled a long arrow out of his quiver and placed it on the string that was a part of his bow. Eyes squinted as the male focused on his target, with a short yet deep breath he shot the arrow.
– Bulls Eye!
– Revali smirked, obviously proud that once again his aim was spot on. Being caught up in his own world the Rito did not realize he was being watched. Turning his head slightly he sees the hero himself, and what seems to be a camera. Startled the Rito dropped the bow and glared at the hero.
– How dare he disturb Revali’s practice time, Revali found it beyond rude and disrespectful. Crossing his wings and baring his weight on his left leg he looked away.
❝ Pardon me for asking but why were you taking pictures of me? ❞

SEND 📷 FOR YOUR MUSE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF MINE WITHOUT THEM KNOWING.
– Revali would’ve been unaware of any photos being taken if it weren’t for the soft sound of wood creaking. It was as if someone was trying to be sneaky. The Navy blue Rito stood up and with a quick motion he turned around. Narrowing his harsh, green eyes he stared at the Princess who was looking awfully suspicious. Sassily walking up to the princess he placed a wing on his hip.
❝ Princess…If I knew you wanted a picture of me I would’ve let you take one. All you had to do was ask… ❞ He was being so terribly kind to the princess, but he had a reason. She was royalty after all.

“ i don’t expect to ever have to take a hit for you, but i would. ”
– Revali couldn’t help but be the tiniest bit flattered and flustered. Being clearly headstrong the rito crossed his wings and looked at the male. Green, harsh and intimidating eyes narrowed towards the hero as he walked closer.
❝ I am truly flattered, but I doubt I’ll ever need any help from you. I mean me receiving help from such a weak hylian as yourself is absurd don’t you think? ❞

-- Revali couldn’t help but smirk when the Zora girl called him the strongest Rito in the village, she wasn’t wrong. Revali was very well trained, and he was one of the only Rito’s to actually leave the roost. He was the only one bold enough to leave. He fixed his scarf as the girl spoke, he always had to look his finest after all. Wouldn’t want to get his feathers in a bunch.
-- Once the question was asked Revali’s eyes widened, did he even know the answer to this question? Why does one have to have a reason to fight? Revali didn’t quite know how to answer the question, but he tried to the best of his abilities.
❝ I didn’t really need a reason, I guess you could say I’ve always fought so it’s just what I do now. If I see a fight I can’t help but join in a protect people, I suppose it’s just impulse control. ❞
revalisgcle:
– Revali looked at the Zora girl, eyes filled with curiosity and wonder. He sat back down, not taking his sharp stare off of Mipha. He crossed his wings and examined the girl, he posture and all of that nonsense. He looked away and down at his healed foot, still somewhat amazed with the power the Zora held.
– He sighed and looked back at her, his green eyes narrowed.
❝ Feel free to ask your question, if I answer it is a different story. ❞
“It is obvious you are the strongest of everyone within the Rito Village,” she doesn’t wish to stroke his ego too much. She hasn’t seen many Rito leave the roost. A fair number do but few make it as far east as Lanayru but beyond that he’s the only one she’s ever spent an extensive amount of time with.
She toys with the brilliant blue sash that matches the scarf about his neck. “Ah well,” she wonders if it’s a strange inquiry then before it leaves her lips.
“So I must admit that I’m curious,” she glances away from him. “What reason did you have to begin fighting?”

❝ I know you aren’t telling the full truth... ❞ Revali blurted out, not really hesitating with his words. He knew that Leaf was hiding something, Revali was able to tell these things. It was like a 6th sense he had. He flew up to the hammock across from Leaf, wincing slightly at the sudden rush of pain he felt in both of his wings.
-- How weak. Being able to be defeated so easily, by a mere Hylian as well.
-- Revali didn’t say a word, and let his eyes do all the talking. This was hard for Revali to say the least, he wasn’t used to keeping his mouth shut. Finally he broke, opening his beak once again to speak.
❝ You’re lucky you’re dealing with me you know. I’m sure the other champions wouldn’t take an impersonation of the Hero so lightly...it’s a good thing I’m not fond of the Hero...So why not tell me the truth. All of it. ❞

-- Revali gave the princess a puzzled look as he took the bow out of her hands. He placed the bow back on his back and looked at the sky, longing to be flying again. He enjoyed talking to her though, even if he didn’t show it. He tilted his head slightly and walked closer to the princess, almost shoulder to shoulder.
❝ Pardon me for asking this but, why do you have Link as your appointed knight if you’re so talented with a bow? Surely you’d be able to protect yourself without his help. ❞ Revali asked, not knowing if it was a sensitive topic or not.
revalisgcle:
– Revali’s eyes widened, watching as the arrow was only a few centimeters away from the bulls eye. He brought his wings up from his sides and clapped, not sarcastically either. He was genuinely impressed with her. He thought that the princess would miss entirely and he would have a good laugh, well clearly he was proven wrong. He walked up to the young princess and smiled.
❝ Princess I’m certainly impressed. I wasn’t aware you knew how to use a bow ❞
A SMILE IS GIVEN as the bow is returned into the others hands, while she is HAPPY that she proved him wrong, she has to stay HUMBLE, bragging or being overconfident would only make her look bad. Hearing his praise did make her QUITE happy — for the best archer she knew to be praising her abilities with a bow was no small feat.
‘ Thank you — I had learned when I was younger for… defense reasons, it has been some time since I’d picked one up, though. ’
Since Link had became her Appointed Knight, she really had no reason to carry them around with her anymore.
