Binder Tips for when you get your first binder (Part 1)
taking it on and off;
* always stretch before and after you put it on and take it off
* putting it on- many people have described the “dive” into your binder. (there are many videos available if you are confused about just the explanation through words. I’ll try to find one and put it in the comments)
* personally I do arms first into the sleeve and then pull it over my head. It takes a minute to adjust especially if you’re tired or if you’re first few times. (Be slow and don’t freak out lol)
* be sure the back is unraveled first and then pull the front downward over the chest. Once it’s fully on you’ve gotta reach in there and make your chest face forward. (This will make the bind more evenly distributed and you won’t hurt yourself)
* to take it off I first pull on the sleeves and then I cross my arms across my back and pull on the rest. (you have to be kinda aggressive)
remember to stretch and rest after binding!

Binder tips! (part 2)
caring for your binder
Binders are most often hand-wash only, this is to ensure they don’t shrink or stretch
I normally wash it 1-2 times a week but you may need to wash it more or not as much based on how often you wear it
To hand was it I normally soak it in warm soapy water with either laundry or dish soap
Then you just kind scrub it with either a brush or your hands
rinse thoroughly and squeeze out as much water and soap as you can
Then you hang it or lay it out to dry, this may take awhile
if you need to hide it while it’s drying, I’d suggest putting it on a hanger then putting a shirt over tip of it
tip- if you get makeup or something else on it that stains it, use stain remover or makeup wipes. however, some stains are really difficult to remove.

i don’t think i actually want friends,
i get tired and frustrated,
but the fantasy of having friends i love,
the idea of sitting in a dark living room with popcorn and shitty snacks that we walked to the shop for,
scary movies on the tv and rain battering on the windows,
us rolling around the floor like idiots,
everyone entirely comfortable with everyone else,
