“who did you say you were again ?” the female inquired as she hadn’t paid much attention the first time, any at all to be honest. she was usually not bothered by others words, she only ever paid attention to others around her when at work and even then she was usually annoyed, putting a fake smile on.

                    “  i didn’t...  ”  hermes replied, hands burying inside his yellow hoodie’s pockets as he stares at the her. it may have been 21 years since he’d been adopted by big h but he’s still unused to having a family, especially one as large as the olympus gods... what did one say to a distant relative you’ve never met & lived in a metaphorical hell for years ? clearing his throat in hopes to help lessen his occasional stuttering, the immortal teen finally spoke,  “  hermes... j.. junior.  ”

.｡.:*☆ “Aye… did you come to work out as well?” Herkie was spending a lot of his free time in the gym, wanting to keep himself i shape, but also having a lot of unused energy he needed to work off.  

“If not, I could still use someone to hold my punching bag.”

                    “  nah,  ”  hermes quickly denied with a frown, his hand reaching up to rub his cheek. the last time he’d tried working out didn’t go as planned. not only did he break half the equipment, being unused to the strength given to him, he’d also ended up punched in the face when he messed up with his hold of the work out equipment. reaching inside the pocket of his hoodie, he got out a small package & offered it,  “  da... mh... sssaid you had mail & s...-ent me to give you.  ”

{ELLIOT FLETCHER; GRAY ASEXUAL; TRANSMALE} —» Introducing HERMES JR, the 16 year old descendant of HERMES from HERCULES. Rumour is that HE is AN ONLY CHILD. It’s been speculated that HE is a FIRST YEAR at AURADON PREP. Word is that HE is PROUD but HE can also be COWARDLY.

CHAPTER 1: CHILDHOOD

hermes was once a young girl named jacqueline who ran away from her abusive home (age 8) filled with a submissive mother who barely cared for her & a psychotic father who abused her in several ways

biologically female when he was born but never really related to the idea of being a girl. preferred wearing male clothes, fighting other street kids, looking and acting tough. would find the loosest of clothes in bins and trash to wear them.  

he lived in the streets as a beggar and newspaper seller until he was found by a gang, which he didn’t have a choice but to join

while life working in a gang’s rough, at least he’s protected from other street kids trying to steal from him & from adults

his ‘job’ was still to beg & sell newspapers but to keep up with the daily quota being asked of him, jacqueline, learned how to steal wallets & how to run very fast. even going so far as to self-learn something close to parkour (with less grace)

when the gang found out about him stealing & being speedy enough not to be caught by police, he was tasked to be their thief & ‘messenger’ aka someone who entered the homes of their enemies, left them threats, stole important items, & could do so without being caught

his father, being the psychotic bastard that he was, wasn’t fond of one of his ‘slaves’ or his child running away & decided to haunt him down

the dad, recalling all those years of forcing jack to watch horror movies & enjoying him screaming at the sight of clowns, haunted him down as one. increasing jack’s fear of clowns & anything related to them

CHAPTER 2: ADOLESCENT YEARS

he was caught by his dad during one of his ‘messaging sprees’, at the age of 12 & after 4 years of being hunted, & was forced back home where he was subjected to more abused & gained the scars found all over his body

gained a stutter & selective mutism due to the stress that he went through, from the high self-inflicted fear he gains whenever seeing his father & recalling every horror movie he’d been forced to watch & being actually haunted down by him dressed as a clown, to the actual abuse

escaped his captivity & ran away from home again. this time leaving his birth place & traveling around the whole land, stealing bits of food until he found another gang to join.

was bullied for his stutter, along with his gender, height, stupidity, etc., which made him hate his voice & every part of him. he stopped talking completely to get rid of the one part he’s bullied of, & would normally just sign or keep quiet

started on drugs at the age of 14 due to needing an escape from his street life (the bullying, the insults, etc.), memories of his home life, & the fear that he has of his father catching him again. drugs caused his stutter to worsen.

his addiction to drugs, especially heroin, got his few older gang mates to call him a ‘heroin mess’ which slowly ended up to him being called ‘hermes’. his first actual name other than girl or brat. he quickly accepted it and enjoyed it since while it talked about his drug addiction, it was a male name, and it felt as if the people he was around accepted him.

was found by the god hermes when hermes jr. decided to take the wallet of the god & actually got away with it. they met several times with hermes watching over a number of hermes jr.’s ‘messenger runs’, which made him offer to take the kid (which god of thieves & messengers wouldn’t want a speedy thief & messenger as a kid)

hermes jr. declined a number of times but hermes insisted. 

during several meetings in which the god fed him, the god noticed that hermes jr. is biologically a girl (his malnutrition halting his already late puberty), noticing how he was once again starving himself to gain his flat chest back, wearing looser clothing, etc. 

the god declaring that he’s a man & being willing to help with his transition got hermes jr. to agree to being adopted by the god. he was helped by being given binders, hormone therapy, etc.

CHAPTER 3: IMMORTAL YEARS

he became an adopted child of hermes & an immortal demi-god a year before auradon was created

with the help of having a supporting dad & aphrodite, he was transitioned into the male he always was

his dad (or big H as hermes jr. calls him) also started to slowly help him out of his self-imposed mutism, getting him to start saying sounds until he could stutter words out

hermes jr. also started helping his father with his work, acting out as a messenger in auradon. with his abilities & the winged sandals made only for him, he traveled all around auradon, delivering packages

has been seen a couple of times hovering around the barrier of the isle. he knows that if he has been adopted just a year later, he would have been sent there. it makes him worried about the kids stuck inside & grateful of his family

CHAPTER 4: CURRENT LIFE

still the 16 year old thief that he once was. still that kid who gets into fights & loses cause he doesn’t know how to chose his fights & which 5 foot 2 almost malnutritioned boy can really win a physical fight

his stuttering’s lessened to the point that he can actually say sentences now instead of stuttering out every word. 

currently a 1st year in auradon prep since he never really had a proper education until hermes adopted him & even then they were busy working & trying to fix his stutter
