My piece for Dark Fairy Zine.

Loosely following the medieval Sephardic tradition of Las Fadas. In medieval Spain Sephardic Jews would hold welcoming ceremonies for baby girls to give them their Hebrew name, and in some accounts circle the child to protect them from evil fairies.

My story follows a fairy who's done his best to track down a girl he was once set on stealing away- only to find out she'd grown into a handsome man who doesn't perceive him due to a lack of belief in his kind. His frustration changes to confusion and endless yearning for something he'll never have, doomed to be an eternal observer.

Fairydoll chapter 1 is up!

A guard to the Royal court of Fairies aspires to be a knight, but when she intrudes on a beautiful fairy performing forbidden magic - her plans get turned upside down. Earwig is honorbound, but the fairy intrigues her, as she gets further tangled into her web of illusions, desire, and lies.

Don't worry you're so ok!! I'm not selling any prints atm, but I'm considering opening an INprint sometime next year! If I ever do I promise I'll make a blog post with an update :)

The glow on your עטור מצחך זהב שחור piece?? Amazinggg

Ohh thank you so much!! 'עטור מצחך זהב שחור' is a line from a poem, and it roughly translates to "adorned is your forehead with black gold", the writer referring to his lover's hair. So I wanted the character to have a golden, dream-like glow to her :))
