A Weird Day
Event #1: On my daily 7-mile walk I always listen to music (about 2,500 songs on the iPhone). Normally I use a playlist I set up for Walking. But today the phone began for unknown reason to shuffle through all songs. The 2nd song was Bob Dylan's Eve of Destruction reminding me how we listened to his and Joan Baez songs back in high school in Germany and how we walked & protested against the Vietnam War... Event #2: In my last 5 years in high school I also played in a Band just like everybody in the Sixties. In 1968 we met at one of our gigs in my hometown 2 guys from Boston. They were on a Europe trip with their VW Bus. Their names were Frank and John. It turned out that they both were not only excellent singers but also good, nice guys. To make a long story short: They decided to stay for 6 month and to join us in the band. We all had a great time, a lot of fun and became friends. The 6 months passed in no time and they returned to the United States. Two month later they let me know that they both had to go to Vietnam. That was the last time we had contact. Later I learned that they both were missing in action. A very sad day for me then and a very sad day today remembering John and Frank. Event #3: While walking my miles I almost always meet Bob, a retiree of the United States Navy. He is 88 years old and walks everyday 3 times a mile from his house and back. On our daily meets we are chatting about all kind of things. He told me once that after the attack on Pearl Harbor he was stationed there. Normally Bob always wears a kind of Mexican straw hat when he does his 3 miles. Today was the first time in 2 years that he was wearing his retiree cap of the United States Navy! All 3 events about war, vets... I'm not superstitious, but this is strange!

It's just disgusting how #obama + #OFA try to push for #guncontrol by sending out an email from a father of a school-shooting 14 years ago. The head of this email shows as sender a Tom Mauser. Clicking this name shows the real sender: [email protected] = OFA It follows the complete email below: "My son, Daniel, was a smart, quiet kid. He'd just become a straight-A student, and he was overcoming his shyness as a new member of the debate team. On April 20th, 1999, my beautiful and bright 15-year-old son was killed by two teenagers with guns in the library of Columbine High School -- one of 12 innocent kids who lost their lives for no reason at all. It's been 14 years since that horrible day -- 14 years of fighting so no family has to grieve like ours did. These tragedies keep happening, and so far, Congress has failed to take common-sense action to stop them -- even though nine in 10 Americans have agreed that expanding background checks would help close the loopholes that put guns in the hands of dangerous people and prevent future violence. Today, OFA and allied organizations are standing up for a national Day of Action to ask members of Congress: What will it take to finally act to prevent gun violence? I hope you'll join in -- say you'll do one thing this week to show Congress you want action to prevent gun violence. The evening of the shooting at Columbine High was the most hopeless I've ever felt. Since Daniel's death, I've found a way to honor him: by trying to prevent other families from feeling this pain. I've advocated locally and nationally for smarter gun laws -- even helping achieve a statewide ballot victory here in Colorado. In December, when I heard about the shooting in Newtown, I sat in my office and broke down. I was watching another community torn apart by guns -- more parents grieving, more kids who would never see graduation, or a wedding, or a family of their own. And in the wake of another tragedy, nine in 10 Americans agreed that it was time to act -- expand background checks to close the loopholes that put guns in the hands of dangerous people. But Congress disappointed us, putting politics above the safety of our kids. That's why this week, we're asking: How many parents will have to go through what I did before we say "enough"? You should be a part of this, too. Tell Congress you're going to keep asking until they act: http://my.barackobama.com/Do-One-Thing-for-Gun-Violence-Prevention Thank you, Tom Tom Mauser Littleton, Colorado"

The Chinese began in the 7th Century BC to build the 13,171 miles long Great Wall to protect the Empire against intrusion, for border control, regulation of trade, and for control of immigration. Sound familiar? But our Government, especially #Obama, does not recognize the importance of the reasons the Chinese had to build this wall. Just go and secure the Mexican border for the same reasons!

Trayvon's family changes the facts and starts a petition to change the Stand Your Ground law
[this morning I found the following email in my inbox http://d.pr/i/skPA+ Below you find the content of the email]
Justice for our son Trayvon: ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws must be reviewed.
Sign Tracy and Sybrina’s Petition
Last year, our son Trayvon Martin was stalked, chased down and killed by George Zimmerman, and Zimmerman received no punishment whatsoever. That’s in large part because Florida is one of at least 21 states with some form of ‘Stand Your Ground’ law which enables people like George Zimmerman to claim self-defense. ‘Stand Your Ground’ was never meant to give aggressors the opportunity to get away with murder, but that is what happened when our son Trayvon was killed. After Trayvon’s death, law enforcement used the law as an excuse to refuse to arrest George Zimmerman. Even worse, the jury in the case was instructed to think of what Zimmerman did as self-defense, even though Zimmerman ignored instructions from the police and instigated conflict with our son, who was just trying to get home to his father. We are shocked and heartbroken by the jury’s decision to allow our son’s killer to go free. Despite our despair, we must honor Trayvon’s legacy by doing all that we can to protect other young people from being targeted, pursued, and senselessly murdered. We started a petition on Change.org calling on 21 governors whose states have some form of ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws to review those laws and amend them so that people who instigate conflicts — people like George Zimmerman — won’t be able to use these laws to get away with murder. We are not the only ones calling for ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws to be reviewed. President Obama spoke out on the need for review, and prominent Republicans like Senator John McCain have joined him. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue, it’s not ‘black’ or ‘white’ issue, it’s a wrong and right issue. This is a matter of making sure that no other family will ever have to go through what we have been through. No parents should ever have to know what it feels like to watch your child’s killer walk free. Our hearts broke on the night of February 26, 2012 when George Zimmerman killed our son — and we were stunned and devastated when the police refused to arrest Zimmerman. We petitioned for Zimmerman’s arrest on Change.org, and after more than 2 million people joined our call, Zimmerman was charged with our son’s murder. We felt so much closer to justice for Trayvon, and so grateful for the support of those who signed our petition. But on July 13, 2013, our hearts broke again when the jury set Zimmerman free. Our hearts broke because it is so hard to accept that we can’t protect Trayvon anymore. But we can fight to make sure that this never happens again. Please sign our petition calling for a thorough review of all ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws to prevent killers like George Zimmerman from going free. We want to say thank you to all of you who have stood up for our son. Because of all your efforts, Trayvon’s life is celebrated all over the world. Please continue to stand with us as we fight to ensure that his legacy is to leave behind a safer and more peaceful world for all our sons and daughters. Thank you, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton

Oath of Allegiance
On Dec 7, 2009 my Naturalization took place and I stated under oath that "… I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic enemies…". Taking this serious I spotted as foreign enemy the Radical Islam where Muslims actively seek worldwide Sharia and global Islamic domination http://d.pr/i/CFpG+ and as domestic enemies #Obama http://d.pr/i/nwMt+ and #HillaryClinton http://d.pr/i/UhJq+ (#benghazi #IRS #NSA #obamacare #guncontrol #socialism #economy #immigration #fastandfurious). Those findings define my goal for the next 3 years: Helping that we have no Democratic president and government after the election in 2016.

Really, Tempo a great calendar?
Well, I don’t think so: Unreliable application and unreliable customer service.
Details: After installing the app I added OmniFocus ( a professional task manager) and US Holidays to the visible calendars of Tempo. The result is more than frustrating.
If holidays are visible at all then only for a minute before they disappear again. The same happens to the tasks. Either they are not there or disappear right away. This app behavior makes Tempo highly unreliable. One has always to double check via a different calendar before scheduling an appointment if there is an holiday or another task already planned.
Tempo a “smart" assistant?
An example: I added the following event to Tempo: “Pay phone bill". The smart assistant searched my contacts and added a list of all people with the first name Bill to this event. If Tempo were a real assistant I had to fire him/her.
As unreliable as the app is Tempo’s customer service:
On May 22, 2013 I sent an email to Tempo to explain the named problems but never got a response until I responded to a tweet of someone who just installed Tempo and asked this person if she ever tried to contact Tempo’s customer service. Three hours after this tweet from June 4, 2013 I was finally contacted by the customer report and after providing additional info via email I was told that they take care of the problem with the next app update.
Since the problem persists I sent an email to customer service on June 23, 2013 but again no response.
Summary: Unreliable application and unreliable customer service!

The old, bad tools of political aggression
"The president ordered his vice president to pressure the leaders of nations from which I have requested protection to deny my asylum petitions," he [Snowden] is quoted by Wikileaks as saying.

Obama is disarming the country using school shootings as argument. If he would have spend some of the billions USD he wasted in wars nobody really wants and needs in security for schools there wouldn’t have to die kids and teachers. And the worse thing is that he now uses victims of school shootings for his campaign to disarm the country.

Does anybody use their brain?
What’s wrong with this country? Is there anybody who steps up against Obama? He not only continues what Bush started, he even extended the power of his one man show regardless of the Constitution, Civil Rights, and obviously doesn’t care at all about international relationships. The USA are currently one of the most un-liked countries of the planet. It’s time for impeachment! Get rid of this President who continues to damage the respectability of our country!
