For self shippers whose f/os have very low confidence and self esteem, imagine being the one they can turn to when they need a boost.

You don't hesitate to list every one of their best qualities (and let's be honest here, there's a lot to choose from) and you make sure they understand that they have so much to be confident about, far more than they feel like they have at the moment.

You're the one who reminds them who they are, and how much they've accomplished, and everything you know they're going to accomplish in the future.

You tell them you love them, unconditionally, and even if they don't accomplish anything else for the rest of their life, you'll still be proud of them and you'll still love them.

You listen to them as they spill their heart to you, whether it's in character for them to do so or not. They can't help it, they just feel so safe with you, they feel like they can tell you anything. And they can, you never judge them or laugh, even if their self-deprecating thoughts are ridiculously untrue. You gently tell them how untrue those thoughts are, and you offer to help them in whatever way you can.

Sometimes that means just holding them until the bad thoughts go away.

🌷 what do they do when you/your OC are having a bad day at work/school/in general?

copia definitely picks thon up their favorite candy and a fun beverage (soda or energy drink, for example), orders takeout so neither has to cook, and he puts on thons favorite movie or TV show and the two cuddle and talk about what's bothering him. Copia isn't bothered that they've probably seen said movie or TV show 1,000 times before, since the familiarity comforts my s/i more than anything.

Copia probably picks up on my s/i's hobby of art, even though I hc that he's not very good at it. I like to imaging we'd sketch portraits of each other together :,)
