Crewnecks

Move aside v-necks, this season it’s all about the crewneck. You’ve probably never paid too much mind to necklines, but this is one to take note of.

Believe it or not, the classic crew neck style is making a fashion comeback. In the past, these warm, casual sweater alternatives were reserved only for gym class and cold weather runs. Traditionally sporty in nature, the crew neck is flattering to the shoulders and chest. Now, they are being viewed as trendy statement pieces that can really enhance any style.

This neckline is not exclusive to preppy sweaters and knits from your granparents – we’re seeing it a lot on everything from tees to raglans to knits and fleece. The days of the V-neck are probably over.

You will love this classic cut sweater because of its versatility. By definition, a crewneck must have a plain rounded, “collarless neckline.” Style your crewneck sweats the same way you would a t-shirt: creatively.

Crewnecks are the perfect cold weather answer to tees—versatile (dress them up or down) and oh so warm and comfy. they can be worn with jeans for a relaxed, laidback look, paired with a layered over an oxford for a preppy uptown vibe. Though they will always look great with solids, black particularly, printed bottoms can really up the fun factor.
