human sex differences are subtle, but pretty much unmistakable; the ability to recognize them as a glance is instinctive, and no amount of gaslighting is going to stop people’s brains from making these unconscious calculations. even the most strident trans activist can correctly sex 99.9% of the people they see on a daily basis, and no matter how many times they repeat their cult mantras they will never be able to prevent their own eyes from seeing what’s right in front of them.

No one is saying you don’t have the freedom to wear whatever you want; I’m saying it has nothing to do with feminism.

Individual freedom is the core value of liberalism. If what you want is “freedom of choice,” be my guest: That makes you a liberal, but it doesn’t necessarily make you a feminist. You can arrive at the conclusion that everyone has the “freedom to choose” without invoking feminism at all. Feminism is its own political and intellectual tradition, and it’s about women’s liberation. 

Stop telling girls they have to be super heroes and not princesses. Stop telling girls that wanting to be a mother or a homemaker isn’t a real job. Stop telling girls that makeup isn’t art. Stop making fun of girls who like being in a relationship and looking for love.  STOP telling girls that femininity is bad. I thought being a feminist and being a woman’s rights activist was about giving women the freedom to choose. Stop the internalized misogyny.
