i love how spock seems to delight in denying bratty mirror kirk what he wants and seeing the confusion on mirror kirk’s face cause his spock gives him whatever he wants in exchange for power or money and not understanding that this spock does everything for his kirk out of love

People would think that Jim would have a problem differentiating the three Spocks in his life, but Jim just thought that was silly.

First there was Elder Spock, whose bond with Jim was familial. He saw Jim as a son, the child he and his long dead mate had never been able to have, and Jim soaked up that attention with the hunger of a starving man being fed for the first time.

Then there was his first officer. Jim loved him so much, and loved how forceful Spock was with him. Jim loved how the bond they shared was almost a physical thing. Spock took control and let Jim just feel, let Jim let go, and Jim adored that.

And finally there was Captain Spock. He was alone, separate from his own world much like the Elder, but unlike the Elder his bond with Jim was romantic and sexual just as the bond Jim shared with his first officer. And where his first officer was the one in control and dominant in their play, the Captain was totally and utterly submissive to Jim, and eventually to Spock as well.

So no, Jim's just fine having three Spocks in his life, thank you very much.
