Hello everyone! My name is Reese Margarette R. Rosas, a grade 7 student at APEC Schools Lipa. I’m a transferee student from my former school St. Elizabeth Ann School in Malvar. My first days of online classes here in APEC were pretty enjoying and comfortable. The learning facilitators were really kind and nice to their students. They also explain and discuss their topics well and clear for the students to understand properly. I also enjoy their clubs, I joined their Arts and Crafts club because of my interest in Arts. Adapting to a new school is quite a bit challenging considering that it is a new school and it is online.
Even if I adapted to this school already, I still miss my former school. I made a lot of memories in that school and my classmates were in them as well. I remembered the time when we went camping, sadly we didn’t went to forests. Instead we camped inside of our school building and it was such a fun experience! Another time was there was a “Maskara Festival” at our school and we had to make maskaras and dance with it. After the dancing competition, they announced the winner and to our surprise, we won! Another reason on why I love that school so much is that I started studying there ever since I was 5 and I was kindergarten that time.

The 3 conversational skills:
a) Breaking the Ice - To start a conversation with someone. Mention a topic that you think is appealing for both of you.
b) Asking the Right Questions - When asking questions about them, make sure that the questions are appropriate and not too personal. We should also learn what “Open-ended” and “Close-ended” questions are to make the conversation more interesting.
c) Keep the Conversation Going - We should use appropriate and proper words when we reply to them to keep the conversation going. Also show them that you are interested in what they’re talking about so they won’t stop chatting with you.

Finding solutions for the ongoing problems about the traffic at Metro Manila
We learned that by reading reports about the traffic problem, we can think of a better way to solve this! We can use the ideas we came up with and share them to other people so they can do the same. For me, reducing the amount of private cars driving along the cities of Metro Manila can lessen the traffic and following the rules and being an obedient citizen can also lessen traffic problems.

Fictional Characters / Fiction - Is fabricated and not real, it is made out of the imagination of the author. Myths, legends and fairytales are examples.
Nonfictional character / Nonfictional - Are true events or stories by people. Biographies, documentaries and historical books are examples.
