Fortnight moon is hiding in clouds,

Its radiance concealed, shrouded in shrouds.

A glimpse of its beauty, we seek in vain,

As the clouds above, pour down like rain.

Oh, how we long to see its light,

To bask in its glow throughout the night.

But the clouds persist, they will not yield,

As the moon stays hidden, behind their shield.

We stare up at the sky with wonder,

As the clouds move and tear asunder.

A glimmer of hope, we start to see,

As the moon shines through, so bright and free.

A daunting task that can make one hover,

In the same spot, without progress or change,

Feeling trapped, like in a cage.

But there's something to be learned,

In repetition, a lesson to be earned,

For when we face the same thing once more,

We can approach it with a better score.
