Having sex isn't everything, have y'all tried just laying down, playing with someone's hands while they talk about life. Those are the moments to live for. Deep talk and understanding someone's background, opening up to someone and actually falling for them more and more.

"it's her blood in your veins" is so essentialist. You know how oppressors categorize the people they oppress as less than them, as animals? This is textbook fascism, which is actually fascinating regarding Caitlyn's arc.
She was born in a very wealthy and influential family in position of power which allowed her to exercise a certain care-free, almost naive desire to see the world, just like a child whose presented with toys. I do not doubt for a second she thinks the people of Zaun suffered because of the society she is a product of, Vi is the perfect example of "you are not like them", which in season 1 was the cataclysm to her empathy, and indubitably the crumbling of any shred of compassion the moment she is personally attacked.
Her mother died, which is atrocious, but countless mothers died in Zaun against Piltover and the complete disregard it had towards Zaun's population. How many mothers died by enforcers? By chemicals' exposure? How many little girls lost their mom?
Caitlyn grief is emblazoned and coated in the privilege she was born into, reinforcing the idea she grew up with, that people of Zaun will not hesitate to eat her alive if they could, that's why she violently rejects Vi. They are all the same, it's in their nature. Caitlyn's anguish is in part grounded in discrimination.

Why you shouldn’t support the upcoming game Black Myth: Wukong
Simply put, the creators behind Black Myth: Wukong are raging misogynists.
Founders and creatives of the studio have:
Joked about former female employees hypothetically doing prostitution
Used suggestive/objectifying/derogatory imagery & phrasing in their hiring flyers (under the cut), e.g. “In addition to hookup buddies, we promise to provide more thoughtful services” , “fatties fuck off”, etc.
Written entire think pieces on how video games don’t need female players or developers, how women are biologically inclined towards “softer” modes of gaming than men (there’s also a bit of homophobia mixed in through language such as “fuck sissies”), how some things should just be made for men, etc. “Fuck sissies, fuck tragic love stories, fuck moon-lit peach blossoms and flute-playing scholars! You don't need the reverse motivation of female players, you don't need to take care of those worms who just want to date chicks. Some things are just for men, their depression, their anger, their pain...”
Made numerous sexually explicit (& honestly incel-like) comments including ones about a female character in Black Myth: Wukong, e.g. “once you get used to this [character design] you can jerk off to it”, etc.
Boasted about how they’re losing followers, who must be women
To no one’s surprise, when people criticise the studio online, they’re met with vitriol about how they’re hypersensitive feminists, too politically correct, etc.
Chinese women have been YELLING non-stop on social media about how bad it is so it’s pretty depressing to see that a lot of non-Chinese gamers, even after reading an IGN article covering the situation, are apathetic. I get that a lot of people are excited about the novelty of a soulslike game based on Chinese mythology, but do you really want to support a studio that actively contributes towards and benefits from misogynistic gaming culture?
Talking about separating the artist from their art is bullshit if you're financially supporting them. Boycott! Pirate!
Here are some sources if you want to see detailed translations, learn more about the situation as well as the misogynistic gaming culture at large China:

Good morning. This might be my last message from the city of Rafah. The occupation [Israel] is carrying out crazy fire. Violent belts. As you’re hearing, there are helicopters. Planes and gunfire from the vehicles. There’s a complete invasion of the city.
We don’t know what is going on in Rafah. The place that the occupation [Israel] claimed to be safe. This is happening all of a sudden; the people didn’t go out. They didn’t do anything. More than thirty targets were hit in just minutes. People were asleep. We woke up to the bombing, to the shooting from the helicopters. It was horrifying. Unacceptable. This might be my last message. Please relay it to the world.
— Hazem, journalist residing in Rafah; 02.11.2024
Rafah was Palestinians’ very last safe zone. There is quite literally nowhere else left to go. And now it’s being bombed with airstrike after airstrike.

Hazbin Hotel - Musical First, TV Show Second
Having now seen the entirety of Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel, and considering it through the lens of structure and pacing, it is now abundantly clear to me that Hazbin Hotel is more than anything else - a two-act Broadway musical.
I am by no means an expert on musical structure, but I do think it comes across pretty clearly from what I do know of it.
Episodes 1-4 comprise Act 1, where the thematic concerns and characters are established, as well as the musical motifs that get called back to later in the show. Act 1 is relatively more lighthearted (though does have dramatic and intense moments such as episode 4 and Charlie’s dismal failure to communicate with Adam)
We then get a bit of an intermission - not on the actual show of course, though understanding this structure it now becomes even clearer why they released episodes 1-4 in the first batch before the final sets. There is a large timeskip between episodes 4 and 5, which is actually rather common in musicals.
Act 2 comprises episodes 5-8, there is a jump in the timeline, and we focus on the Heaven plot line. The stakes are higher, things are more serious in dramatic, and seeds planted in Act 1 have their payoff. We get a lot of reprises of musical numbers that parallel the originals in interesting ways. (Very interesting to me is that, while not a direct reprise, Vaggie and Carmilla have a duet about fighting for love in both Act 1 and Act 2, the difference being in the first duet they are singing separately but in the second they are actually meeting in person and singing together. A fun touch.)
While I do not think this excuses all of Hazbin Hotel’s flaws in the structure and pacing department, I do think that this understanding allows for me to appreciate what Hazbin Hotel is and did do in a greater capacity. I definitely think it prioritises its musical element over the expectations of episodic TV (though it does lack the actual time space that a lot of similar shows would have… which is more of a critique on the way the modern media streaming landscape handles acquiring shows and producing content more than anything else :/ that could be a whole other post.)
