Paint and Plant - All in One Workshop

Hey, craft lovers!

Join us this February 9th for a color paint & plant all-in-one workshop at Modern Terrarium Bar by ReCreateU!  Create your own unique painting inspired by the cacti and succulents of Modern Terrarium Bar! In the first half of our craft night, you'll learn the basics of painting with artist Katie Hillman @artistkatiehillman and work from observation to create a 5 x 7" inch plant painting ready to be framed and displayed in your home. Next, you'll design and paint your very own terra cotta pot, before filling it with one of our hand-selected plants.  Trust me, no previous experience is necessary!! It's going to be an awesome night!  All materials will be provided and Light refreshments are served.   So exciting!!! Spots are limited, so...........

Park Ave #RVC Book now: http://www.recreateu.com/crafts-and-events-8-s-park-ave For this workshop, we will be collaborating with Country Chic Paint, a brand of eco-friendly and VOC-free paints, and transforming a set of clay terracotta pots into chic cactus and succulent planters! Over the course of the workshop, we will walk you through the painting process, and show you a number of different techniques to get the look you wish to achieve! Additionally, we will show you how to turn your new project into a planter one layer at a time.
