Sebastian (Dadbastian) Drabble.
Summary : Ciel is overworking, so Sebastian brings him a warm cup of milk to help put him to sleep!
Warnings!!! : None!
Not proofread!! (T_T)
The Phantomhive manor was silent, save for the constant sound of scribbling, and stamping, coming from The Young Lord's Office.
There he sat, a singular lamp illuminating the desk, a worn expression was drawn on his face, hunched over nearly mountains of papers; cluttering the usually tidy desk. Some slid off the desk, landing in a messy pile on the floor. Ciel eyed it, He'd be sure to have Sebastian sort and clean the papers later—
Sebastian entered silently, his crimson eyes sweeping over the scene. The boy’s usually sharp posture had become sagged, and his eye(s) struggled to remain open.
“Still awake, my lord?” Sebastian’s voice broke the silence, calm and steady.
Ciel didn’t glance up. “Obviously. There’s work to be done.”
Sebastian said nothing as he approached, a tray in hand. Instead of the expected tea, a warm cup of honeyed milk steamed gently on the tray. Setting it down beside the boy, he glanced at the untouched dinner plate pushed aside.
“Why didn't you bring the Earl Grey I requested?” Ciel asked, his tone sharper than necessary.
Sebastian folded his hands neatly behind his back. “My apologies Young master. As tea would only keep you awake longer, I thought it'd be more fitting. Honey and milk will help you rest when the time comes—which, I might add, should have been hours ago.”
“I don’t have time for rest,” Ciel muttered, his pen scratching angrily against the paper. “These reports won’t review themselves.”
Sebastian leaned forward, plucking the pen from Ciel’s hand with ease. The boy glared up at him, a defeated scowl on is face. But the butler’s expression was unmoving, almost gentle.
“A sharp mind is a rested mind, my lord,” Sebastian said, setting the pen down beside the cup. “You’ll find these papers much easier to manage in the morning.”
Ciel huffed, slumping back in his chair. “You’re insufferable.”
“Indeed,” Sebastian replied, his lips quirking into a faint smile. “But I am also correct.”
After a pause, Ciel begrudgingly picked up the cup, the warmth seeping into his hands. He took a cautious sip, the soothing sweetness of the honey surprising him. For a moment, his shoulders relaxed.
Sebastian began gathering the scattered papers into neat piles, his movements swift and efficient.
“You’ll regret it if you fall ill,” he murmured, his back to the boy.
“I won’t get sick. . .” Ciel muttered, though his voice was quieter now.
Sebastian glanced over his shoulder, his crimson gaze softening. “Certainly not, My Lord."
As the boy finished the milk, his eyelids grew heavy, and soon enough, his head drooped against the back of the chair.
With that, Sebastian stepped closer, Turning off the lamp, Retiring his young master for the night.

BLACK BUTLER BLUE CULT ARC SPOILERS!!
"Did Sebastian care for Agni?"
Me personally, I'm NEVER going to get over Agni's death. But let's talk about how Sebastian looked genuinely hurt/ affected by his death? He lost his first ever "friend" and it's very clear he's somewhat disappointed, or something more than that. (I wouldn't say he felt grief though.)
You CAN'T look at this and tell me Sebastian isn't affected by his death. He holds him in the same way he'd cradle a cat (animals he shows a deep respect for). (Just simply from behind.)
Also, consider how he was already aware that Agni had already passed on, yet he still addressed him formally. As though saying goodbye to a comrade. And he'd need not hold up a front because the only one being present was Ciel, and Soma. (Mainly Ciel).
Sebastian felt no grief over Agni’s death (I assume because in the green witch arc he says he cannot produce emotions to cause tears), but he acknowledged it as a significant loss. While he couldn’t relate to the loyalty and devotion that defined Agni’s humanity, he respected it in his own detached way. It reminded him of the stark difference between himself and humans he could mimic their emotions flawlessly, but he could never truly feel them. Regardless of being a demon or not, Sebastian himself has said he has aesthetics; one in particular being serving only one person until your duty is complete. He most definitely admire(s)d Agni for his resilience, his thoroughness, and most importantly, his loyalty towards his master, till the very end.

BLACK BUTLER SPOILERS!!!!
(Not proofread, this is just an idea/concept)
I haven't finished black butler past the current arc the anime left off on, and I know a few spoilers, but I heard that OCiel actually sacrificed RCiels soul, and I was thinking about how ironic it would be if Sebastian was doing the same thing he did to the Ghost King and Prince in Season One, Episode Sixteen. Where he falsely served them, and later betrayed them due to his actual masters order's, here's exactly what he said quoted after the betrayal:
Q1.
" I am bound to the Earl Phantomhive by contract, I served the two of you because it was my job. All I have done is faithfully carry out the orders of my true master. "
Q2.
"I am not two Faced I have always belonged entirely to my master"
Ciel didn't comment on this at all, instead he was confident thinking that Sebastian was actually his, but imagine how ironic it would be if RCiel gave Sebastian an order, and he obeys, and betrays OCiel.
(I HAVE NOT FULLY READ THE MANGA, DO NOT COME FOR ME PLEASE🙏🙏 I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT IT AND WANTED TO WRITE ABOUT IT. THANK YOU FOR READING MY RANT OR WTV)
