#this is not a show where i've had strong shipping opinions but this episode kind of changed that#i was always shipping irving and burt but now I'm straight up like BURT LEAVE YOUR HUSBAND FOR IRVING I SWEAR TO GOD#I love the absolutely fucked up thing where Dylan's wife is kind of cheating on him with him#and then we have our designated main ship here who I've never felt strongly about but this episode I'm like okay dang#when she asked if it was different with her and he responded like this? Yeah. That was slick. That would get me.#trying not to think about how this complicates things related to Gemma because I want the best for her but like oh no#the relationship dynamics on this show are an absolute hellscape and I love it#severance

Sargent's portrait of American-born Parisian socialite Virginie Amélie Avengno Gautreau originally had the strap of Gautreau's already skimpy dress casually slipping from her shoulder. Given that it was a portrait of a well-known socialite, and that the slipped strap implied a loose character, the painting caused such a furor that it had to be re-painted.
