So some of you may know I am indeed a fan of the last unicorn movie 🍿 and book 📖

Today I was in the mood to attempt to draw some fanart for it

Never drew fanart for it before being as I didn’t feel like I had the art skills to do it justice in the past but today I wanted to play around with some colours and shading so gave it a go to try and sketch the last unicorn 🦄

I remember some comment by the author (I think read here) about the design of the volume covers, specially the heraldic like shield used, do you remember something about it? I'm looking for a picture of the shield in particular

The post with the commentary about the covers is this one

I don't remember comments about that tho, gave it a quick reread and didn't find, the only thing I remember about the shield was this one from daydream hour refering to Laios shirt

Here's a better pic from the shield (I think that's the one you mean?) from the manga and one I got from one of the collab websites

The other similar thing I remember is this banner in the thank you page at the end of the manga (read more cause spoilers)

Haven't had time for new holiday art this year. Still working through a long list of backer and book bundle drawings. (Ow, my hand. But also, thank you for all of the support.)
