Reblog this if, like me, you never listened to the bad reviews of Solo that were circling the internet. Reblog this if you loved Alden’s portrayal of Han Solo.

Alden did such an amazing job as Han. I can’t think of anybody better to play such an iconic role.

I never doubted Alden’s ability to play Han and i am honestly one of the only people i know who actually supported the film before i watched it (i’m a sucker for anything Star Wars).

Please do not judge a performance without watching the film. If you’ve seen it and you love it, yay! If you’ve seen it and you hate it, please voice your opinion! But do not bring anybody else down for loving it and please DO NOT hate on Alden when he did such an amazing job trying to fill the boots of one of the most iconic actors in Hollywood!

Solo: A Star Wars Story doesn’t deserve ANY of the hate it’s getting. It was fantastic. And dare I say, it’s one of my favorite Star Wars movies now.

I just finished watching the first season of On My Block and… how are y’all not talking about it?

Poc representation.

The only girl in the group doesn’t feel threatened when another girl joins but they become besties in exactly two second.

Cutest friends group since Stranger Things.

Macho men crying (ok maybe Mario in the first episode is not exactly a macho but who cares. We need to see that it’s ok for men to cry).

Jamal’s parents and Monse’s dad are very cute too (not to mention Ruby’s grandma, what a queen).

Quickly bingeable, funny dialogues, great soundtrack, the actors are good and so is the storyline.

Why is no one watching it? 

Then I remembered that Netflix doesn’t promote much this kind of stuff (just like with The Get Down and One Day at a Time).

the main cast is latino / afro latino and black. 

the show centres around these teenagers growing up in the inner city and gang life and it doesn’t vilify anyone not even spooky.

it shows that all these characters and the choices they’ve made are products of their environment

its hilarious 

the friendship and romances between the characters are just A++++ 

 and all the characters have complex plot lines

so hype up it up go watch it like you do all those other white coming of age teen dramas
