Keep watching... don’t believe everything you see... It took me a couple of minutes to completely transform this picture, scary huh?! If you’re looking for your makeup artist, and their pictures look like the after, you can be sure it has been heavily edited. Quite often I get last minute brides contact me in a panic, they have booked someone based on their Instagram pictures and went for a trial and it hasn’t looked anything like the pictures...it’s an awful situation to be in, especially as most of the time more reputable artists are all ready booked. Make sure you read reviews, look at pro pics on the artists website and Facebook (if they don’t have any, that’s a major red flag!) and study their pictures. A few weeks ago I did a poll on my stories asking about what things you would like to see, a lot of people said they would be interested in seeing some of my editorial work, so I thought I would start with a favourite, an image that changed a lot in my career. This picture was taken by my amazing friend and photographer @bigbadllama (follow him his work is 👌🏻), it was a test shoot, we just had some ideas we wanted to try and it was picked up by @vogueitalia It was then picked up by @patmcgrathreal who invited me to Paris Fashion Week, and has repeatedly posted the image on her socials. I didn’t think I’d ever have the opportunity to work on shows for @maisonvalentino @louisvuitton @fentyxpuma @miumiu @stellamccartney , but this little picture changed everything for me!
