200-250 2ord reflection:
While achieving to creating a depth- of- field I observed that the more zoomed in the camera was to the subject, I was photographing, the camera automatically created a shallow depth- of field on the image, meaning it blurred out it’s surroundings of the subject. This worked out pretty well in my opinion on the DSLR camera rather then on my iPhone. The camera was able to capture my subject and blur out it’s surroundings easily although on my iPhone it was harder for me to achieve. To get the tree functions of the DSLR camera to create my pictures, I used an Aperture of 3, 4, 4.5 and 5, an ISO of 800 and a shutter speed of 1/8. Within these functions I learned that a higher aperture allows your image to be create sharpness from the foreground to infinity and create a deeper depth- of- field, whereas a smaller aperture allows the subject to be less sharp with a lower depth- of -field. I also learned that the higher the ISO is the more sensitive it is to the light, and a lower ISO is less sensitive to light. Lastly, I learned that the shutter speed is what allows the amount of light to enter your photograph, meaning a fast shutter speed allows less light than a slower shutter speed. Finally, I found that the DSLR camera produced better picture then my iPhone. The DSLR camera not only has better quality but it really had an impact on the depth- of- filed and I was able to play around with the settings to have the best pictures with the right amount of light needed.  The pictures taken with the iPhone were not the best and the quality was not great. As well as it was not very useful when it came to identifying a depth- of- field.
