I love this. I think there’s still a piece of me in all of the places I traveled to outside of the us. India, Antigua, Jamaica. I can feel it because I think about it all the time. And I can see a piece of me still learning and relaxing and growing, because of a small moment in time where I stepped away from my norm.
But there’s also pieces of me at the old sushi restaurant my friends used to love, and in SC hanging out with my cousins, and on every walking trail where my brain got to just be quiet for a moment. What a beautiful thought.
kind of weird how parts of your soul are left in various locations without any warning… like yes i’m always at the top of that hill, sitting at the bus stop, in the cool light of the Japanese restaurant, standing at the pier etc etc

It’s worse than 2003. We really have a U.S. president making AI videos of turning Gaza into a resort with a golden statue of himself while showing Elon Musk (who isn’t even a part of the govt) and Netanyahu. People voted for this how are you going to tell me this isn’t colonialism?

The real gold diggers are the men who expect you to take care of them, their parents, clean their house, wash and iron their clothes, give birth to their children and take care of them, manage their emotions, and on top of that, go to work and contribute 50/50 to the expenses.

album covers colors series [5/8]
Brown is a natural color that evokes a sense of strength and reliability. It’s often seen as solid, much like the earth, and it’s a color often associated with resilience, dependability, security, and safety. Brown can also create feelings of loneliness, sadness, and isolation.
