Inspiration
Come up with the “big idea.”
The evolution of my art work over the years. Back then, I tried to draw art face to face, trying to make it perfect and do it the first try without realizing that their are steps in order to draw it accurate. To bring it to life.
This is my first attempt on drawing Goku Black.
2. Figure out the logistics to make your idea a physical and artful reality. Part of this will be figuring out how to document your creative process.
The amount of content I use in order to make my ideas a physical and artful reality is inspiration. I either look at pictures online on google, in video games, Youtube video's or even fan arts that people post on Instagram. I use the Loomis method for my art.
3. Make it (or in some cases, perform it). While you are making it (performing it) DOCUMENT the entire process, as thoroughly as possible. There should be NO QUESTIONS, as I view your blog, as to the originality of the work or that YOU created it.
For starters, when I start drawing my art, I always draw a circle with two lines across. Once I've started that I draw the eyes, the eyebrows, the nose, the mouth, and then make details for facial expression. Next, I draw the face, the curves, the chin, the neck, and his hair. Now that I got the top part done I move too the hard part, the body. What I typically do is just draw sticks and then determine on how I want it to be for the arms, the chest, the pants and etc. When everything is done I use a sharpie and tracks everything and erase it to remove the pencil designs.
4. Post your finished product – your work of art - to your tumblr, along with all documentation.
Step 1.
Step 2.
Step 3.
Final
"We form art. Art forms us." This statement is very true is because when we bring it to life, the art is reflected on ourselves. Taking this class demonstrate that.

WRITING, THINKING AND LOOKING CRITICALLY
As time went on, Jackson Pollock painting style would change as he would state it, “Express my feeling then illustrates them”. This cause was heavily influenced by his southwestern childhood that got him interested in Native American art where he was still making paintings with totemic and mythological subjects, he would paint over them with layers so thick that the original forms was unrecognizable. Overtime he would remove those contents and would just only have splatters and skeins on his painting. His painting is direct, his painting conveys emotion with each of their own distinct gesture, his painting is his work from within. He controls the way the painting is, the color he uses, the motions, the tools, what to show through, he also stops and observes it and makes any adjustments. His art was intentional for every detail and was not an accident as some would view it as chaos. Overall, being true in yourself will result a better result in actions, going by what you are capable of rather than what others want to see, using advice from others to help you form your own or improve, being passionate about it with every details that you make will reflect on others about your talents and the influence you give to them, whether it be a positive outcome or negative. We have the tools to shape the future in our imagine.
2. ART PROJECT
The left is where I turn 18 while the other is when I was 17. The feeling on being a adult, essentially, has a great feeling. No longer that little kid, making decision on my own and facing the real world with confidence.

Virtual Sketchbook Section 3
DESCRIBE PHYSICAL QUALITIES (THE FACTS)
What is it made of? Oil on Canvas
How big is it? 148x260 in.(375.9x660.4cm)
(Include details as if you were using words to help a blind person “see” it.)
What colors and shapes are used? Gold, black, purple, white, red, a cross, patterns, light colors
What subjects (if any) are represented? There is a king in a throne with his imperial crown, his counselors on the benches, a man who is description the scroll and some angel in the back.
How was the work designed? Jean-Joseph Benjamin-Constant uses scenes from the 6th century for his work, he also copied costumes and jewelry from ancient sources.
Is it balanced? Yes, it is symmetrical, and everything is even
What is emphasized? Rhythm? Proportion? A king that is distinctive with the rest as he is on the throne with black clothes and gold crosses while the other is in different clothes, being lower than him. They all have fancy clothes besides the one man that is reading the scrolls, the patterns on the wall are very similar. Have a total of 7 people, like a judge there.
Contrast? Does it have unity and variety? Yeah, the difference are the people clothes, showing higher power compared to the one man, and how the king has 6 counselors.
THIS PART IS ALL ABOUT YOU:
How does the work make you feel? It makes me feel pleased with the time and effort that was put in into this art. The details are clear, and it was a great experience to see it in person.
How or why does it evoke these feelings? Normally, I or some see these pictures online and don’t really know how it would be if you were there. The fact that someone did this back in the day without that much technology or none is impressive, especially because of the size it is.
NOW RESEARCH:
The person that is in the picture is known as emperor Justinian I. He is also called Justinian the Great; he was the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) emperor during the time of 527 to 565. He is also best known for his efforts to strengthen the empire and to normalize Roman law. The artist is named Jean-Joseph Benjamin-Constant, he was born in French, in 1845-1902. He studied at a place called the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, he was also a pupil of Alexandre Cabanel. This would later influence him strongly in his early artistic development, “He learned anatomy, drawing from the ancient statuary and the composition of history painting. His brilliant studies were rewarded by the great painting prize he shared with his friend the painter Jean-Andre Rixens.”
THINKING:
What movement is the art work associated with? An Eastern Roman emperor named Justinian I. The artist made it large on purpose, in hopes of winning a grand medal but never did.
Example: If it’s from the Renaissance, who commissioned it? If it’s a portrait, who is the subject?
What does the artwork say about the artist that made it? The person is very talented and gifted. It also shows that he was passionate about the artwork.
Can you tell what the artist was trying to say? He was trying to hit big, and he achieved it since it is incredible. I can see that he was going for the Roman empire in this art.
How clearly does the artist get their message across? It is very clear on what he was aiming for, you see a king with his counselors, and someone reading from the scroll. It is big, large, and very hard to miss.
THE LAST (most important) PART:
How much talent we had back then and the power we can do with our mind. Were able to create such fantastic pieces of art and display it around the world, make people be amazed that someone did that. Now a days, you won’t be able to see such similar artwork or designs anymore. We have stuff like banana tape on the wall making up to 100,000, if not more, which is ridiculousness. The reason why I choose this painting was because it stands out among the rest, I really like how it was, the color choice, how big it was compared to me, and when it was made. This inspires me to do better in my artwork and to achieve great things like this.

2. WRITING AND LOOKING
Rembrandt van Rijn, CHRIST PREACHING (Chapter 8, 8.3)
This art contains shades, contains successful artwork for the eyes, black and white sketch, looks very old, subordination, unity, directional forces, highlights, and linear perspective.
3. CONNECTING ART TO YOUR WORLD
The art added with color brings it to life, the saturation, the intensity of how you feel when you view it, the value of it with the perception it gives off makes a differences.
I would choose burgundy for my color theme because of the color designs and the meaning behind it. It can mean elegant, timeless or power.
4. ART PROJECT-ARTIST'S CHOICE
I made this awhile ago but I thought this was funny!

WRITING AND RESEARCH-
Hello,
My name is Tavion Brown. A little known fact about me is that I love video games, drawing, and basketball.
Ai Weiwei Kippe
Fun Facts:
He spent his youth in desert exile in 1958, this is when he was one year old. This is where he learned much of his craftsmanship.
Ai Weiwei loves cats
There was a play about him, "The Arrest of Ai Weiwei", the story of how Ai got arrested in 2011 and imprison for 81 days.
Ai returned to China in 1995 because his father was sick, there was one last thing that his father told him that kept him in his native land, "Without Fear or Favour".
Ai is one of the worst barbers in the world, he often post pictures of very unorthodox haircuts. When a blogger named Anthony Tao asked him a question about haircuts, Ai respond with a kind that will make you want to cry.
3) When I first looked at the Tieli wood work from Ai, I was wondering why I was looking at a piece of rock with more rock inside it. But the more I look at it, the more details I saw. Each layer has it's own unique patterns, all of it is not the same. His art symbolizes freedom of expression against great odds. I would say that after his final moments with his dad, "Without Fear or Favour", it was meant to comfort him about his home and that to spend the time in China as he saw fit, rather than in fear or apprehension. Do you see anything different in the art now? Yeah, within the first few seconds of looking at the art, I automatically question on what it is and miss the vitally details of its design. After taking the time to do research on his background and looking at his art more closely, this allows me to see more stuff within his work then I did when I first look at it.
2. ART AND WRITING-
This art is called Goku Black, his original name is call Zamasu from Universe 10. After losing to a mortal name Goku, he stole the saiyan body from Universe 7. He use the super dragon balls which allows the user to make any wish, he switch because his own body was weak compare to his. His goal is to exterminate every mortal since he watch them for centuries and they never change, always in sin and causing war against each other, this gave Zamasu a bias view on mortal kinds. He want's to cleanse Earth to its original beauty and would do anything to achieve that. I use the internet and videos to get more in-dept of how he looks. I feel very accomplish that I get to draw my favorite character on my own without anyone else drawing it. I do thinks it's beautiful, because I drew it, I spend my time perfecting it with my own hands.
3. WRITING A SELF-PORTRAIT-
Fulfillment when I look at art or my own, the details, how it stands out, the colors. I'm 19 years old. I'm a male. I'm from Bradenton, FL. I'm black. I like to play video games, basketball and draw. I'm not a member of any organized group. I work at Walmart. My personality, my responds, my clothes, the way I think about things and life.
4. ART PROJECT (SELF-PORTRAIT)
The gift of a new day and new opportunitys.
