Hoopa Ask Game:

Do you play any competitive games? If you can pick different characters/classes in said game, what's your main?

I've tried them a few times, at my admins' request. My favorite would have to be Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, where I always pick characters from the Animals franchise. I believe my favorite is Mouse, who I would describe as a Pikachu without any electric powers.

Oh, and of course I nearly always lose. Kira has been playing these games since she was very young, an old man like me stands no chance, hoho.

Interesting... I suppose I could list off a few differences in my own world that I've picked up during my time on this website.

As far as I can tell, there are no such things as Ultra Beasts in my world either. It would appear the Aether Foundation was involved in some kind of scandal related to them in most other universes? But such a thing never occurred here. As far as I know, they've only ever done conservation work for the Alola region.

Several of Augustine Sycamore's charges were presumably killed after Team Flare's secret base collapsed on top of them and its leader, Lysandre. The exact details aren't fully known- some suspect the Pokemon League is participating in a coverup, but I find that doubtful. What would they have to gain from such an act?

I have never encountered a Pokemon-human hybrid in all my not inconsiderable years, though it's certainly possible one exists somewhere and simply hasn't been documented.

On a similar note, the only Pokemon fusion I have ever witnessed is two individuals merging together to create a well-documented third species, i.e a Shellder biting down on a Slowpoke's tail to cause its evolution. Certainly nothing like some of the wild descriptions I've heard about.

I had to ask Laurel for their recollection of the incident in Hoenn, given that I was not there, and she kindly obliged me though it is of course a sensitive subject. According to them, Maxie of Team Magma was killed attempting to stop a rampaging Groudon, and Champion Steven was forced to cede his position after receiving an injury while quelling its wrath.

That's all I can think of for the moment. It's fascinating how our worlds seem to differ, isn't it? The only constant I can see to find is that we all have Pokemon in common.

Ok here is a list of things I’ve realized are multiversal differences specific to mostly my universe .

1. Ultra beasts. Never heard about them until rotomblr. Looked them up, nothing but jack shit about them aside from a few conspiracy blogs and this one theory that one of the recollections of Memoir of a Phantom (memoir 8) was describing an ultra beast killing someone. I only found out they existed in my world bc my brother slipped up. Apparently it was . A massive fucking coverup.

2. Sakaki Murata . Just everything about him. First off, he has one eye. Secondly, team rocket is called the Murata Family. Third. He has a tyranitar. Fourth. In like most places he’s not called? Murata? Some places Sakaki is his last name? Giovanni Sakaki?

3. I think I’m Gold???? A Gold? But so many things don���t line up. This gives me a crisis so I don’t think about it.

5. Partner to 3. I do not know who Silver is. Or LIKE. Like. Ok. I know he exists. Met the guy Once. Hes apart of my starter family but he’s friends with Lyra starter family wise and I don’t know her at Alll

6. The Gale Drake (L*gia) is the deity of Kanto.

7. Unova is not a country? It’s Unova Apalikia Alola Orre and a few other so many regions actually.

8. I don’t know what a Looker is :(

Forgive the comparison, but your organization brings to mind that Team Skull group that went around Alola a few years ago. Not to say that's a negative- I believe it was discovered they had never actually caused any permanent damage.

You say your world was flooded almost entirely? How unfortunate. I'm glad to hear you and your team members are working to bring some comfort in what must be a difficult time for all involved.
