Honestly Vi’s storyline is incredible burnt-out-gifted-kid representation. Being a brash young teen full of piss and vinegar with the whole world ahead of you and your whole crew behind you, only for the transition into adulthood to be a blurry, repetitive mantra of “I just have to get through this.” Then as soon as you hit the ground running, everything you spent your life preparing for goes to absolute shit, you’re nowhere near the top-dog you believed you could be in your youth, you fuck up your first real relationship by trying to be something you’re not, realize your younger sister has achieved more than you can ever dream and when it’s finally time to shine under the weight of everyone’s expectations you no longer find joy in it; you just want to cry and go home.
