Not only are the animals affected from water pollution, but humans are too! Around 1.8 million people died in 2015 due to contamination of water making the water undrinkable. It is easy to take water for granted because it is mostly clean in the U.S., but what you do not realize is that the tap water contains toxic contaminants such as arsenic, copper, and lead! Be more mindful of the water and stay healthy!

The animals in the ocean suffer from the plastic we put there. Millions of animals each year die to either direct contact with the plastic like seen in this picture with the turtle, or they die from the toxic chemicals the plastic and waste leaves in the ocean after sitting. We can do something to make a change!

No, this is not some guy fishing in green soup. He is actually floating on whats called Algal Blooms which is a toxic formation of algae that can harm animals and humans alike! This is all due to water pollution and water run-off that bring toxic chemicals into big bodies of water. Everyone needs to start making changes to their daily activities to help reverse the effects of water pollution like this!
