Raya: if you want my hand you’re gonna have to chop it off yourself you COWARD! *whips out her sword and charges*

Chapter 3: My Little Love

(Chapter 1, Chapter 2)

(Quick heads up, chapter 4 is coming pretty soon after this because it was originally supposed to be part of this chapter but adding in the parts in chapter 4 would have just made this part too long)

“How the hell did I not think of this?! Shit!” Charanya yelled, hastily pacing back and forth. 

There was a deep dark pit in Raya’s stomach that kept on growing by the second. She has no clue how anything could solve this.

“I’m going to lose my baby before I even had the chance to name her,” Raya mumbled shakily. Her omega was practically sobbing at the thought. Charanya instantly stopped her pacing and went to Raya’s side.

“We can not afford to think like that, damn it! We have come too far to just give up now! There has to be a way for you to not get caught,” the shorter woman insisted. 

“I don’t see how that’s psychically possible! Sure I’d be able to cover my face when she walks in, but my scent has already covered this entire camp site by now! So when she walks in to see me in this stupid delivery tent, she is going to realize the kid I birthed is hers! I mean we slept together during my heat and here I am, nine months later with a newborn in my arms! She may be a binturi, but she sure as hell isn’t stupid,” Raya sighed, eyes trailing down to her daughter’s face. If she’s going to lose her child so soon, she might as well try to memorize what she looks like.

“Ugh I know. We need to figure out some way to cover up your scent before she gets here,” Charanya said.

“Now how the hell are we supposed to do that? The only thing that can possibly match the scent of an omega that just gave birth is one in heat and as you can clearly smell, that’s not happening right now. Even if one went into heat at this very second, it probably wouldn’t be enough. My scent’s too potent, we both know that,” Raya sighed, rubbing her head tiredly. She didn’t want to give up, but she just didn’t see what can be done.

“Oh, no,” Charanya groaned, clutching her stomach as if just talking about heats brought back her cramps.

“What is it?” Raya asked wearily. 

“You’re right, the only chance to mask your scent would be if an omega went in heat. The only person here that has a scent strong enough to conceal yours is me. I have to go into heat. Like, right now,” Charanya told her.

I’m not dead, just forgetful of my tumblr. SO. I really liked Raya and the Last Dragon. Everything design-wise is so appealing to me, and I’ve been reading a lot of fanfic to have some more worldbuilding explored. And also these two ladies’ relationship of course.
