Maybe just maybe things don't exist in a vacuum and your thoughts, choices, opinions, and actions are affected by your worldview, situation, and personality and maybe the people recreating the squid games for the entertainment of the masses aren't actually doing it because "fun silly game haha" but are actually doing it because they don't view poor/homeless people as anything more than entertaining and the society around us allows them to express this AND gain attention at the same time. And maybe the people who are so deluded that they think reenacting the bread/lottery ticket scene is actually nice to the homeless person genuinely don't think that anything has meaning.
