monika LOVES valentine's day. its her favourite holiday PERIOD. she finds the idea of dedicating an entire day to express your love to someone super sweet and romantic. she 100% has a valentine's day plan she meticulously planned to be perfect even though she has never had a significant other

sayori is also a sucker for valentine's day, but she doesnt see is as a strictly romantic holiday. she's the type to give out chocolate and gifts to her friends, saying stuff like "today's all about love, and i love you guys, so here you go!!". would the other girls get a bit flustered when she gives them their gifts? yeah probably, they're pathetic like that (affectionate)

yuri pretends to act all mature and is all like "its just another holiday to me personally" but she definitely also romanticises the idea of it. though i can see her getting a bit lonely at the sight of other couples, bc she feels like people barely put up with her, what if she'll never have that?

natsuki does the entire "pft, its just a trick from corporations to make you buy stuff" speech, which she and monika definitely butt heads about. just like yuri, she pretends to not care at all, but is actually a sap. main difference is that she's way more vocal about her "indifference", as if not caring about the holiday makes her more mature somehow. similarly to yuri again, she also gets a bit insecure around this time for the same reason ironically enough

anyway tldr, they are all saps, they end up spending the day with eachother bc none of them have plans and they have fun all day long :)
