To point out, the user above you has blatantly lied when they said the transcript is ‘heavily edited’. It’s word-for-word from audio presented in court. How do I know? It’s not a random image I nabbed off the internet.
I wrote it myself while listening to the audio, pausing it every few seconds, and writing down exactly what I heard.
Tumblr’s infamous for users reblogging straight-up misinformation without fact-checking it, so if that’s the behavior you want to participate in, you do you, I guess.
In court, Depp says he was the one in the bathroom. He was taking a shower, Amber beat on the door, and he eventually opened it a crack. She attempted to force her way in, according to him, and he attempted to close the door. He heard a yelp, bent down to see if her toes were caught under the door, and she slammed the door into his head. With the door open now, she punched him.
Here is a transcript, written by someone else, where Amber admits to chasing Depp into bathrooms during arguments, which lends some validity to his story:
Tumblr media
Depp is no angel. But Amber is definitely not innocent, and appears to be the aggressor here. By her own admission.
Amber also has a track record of being abusive. He doesn’t.
Tumblr media
But yeah, sure. It’s Depp who’s the big bad guy. /s

Once again, the transcript isn’t ‘heavily edited’. I know this because /I/ wrote it. I didn’t yank a random image of the internet for that one. I listened to the audio from the trial and copied it word for word. You can go listen to the audio yourself if you want. It’s out there.
The bathroom incident in question was also in the trial. Johnny described showering as Amber banged on the door. He said he opened it a crack, she tried to force her way in, and when he tried to close the door—she yelped. He bent down to see it her toes were crushed, and she slammed the door into his head. With the door open now, she punched him in the face.
Here’s a transcript written by someone else proving it’s a frequent occurrence, by her own words, that she chases him into the bathroom.

But yeah, sure. It’s Depp who’s the big bad guy. /s

He was the one hiding in the bathroom she was trying to break into. He opened the door, she tried to force her way in, and then yelped when he tried to close the door. He bent down to look if her toes were crushed. She slammed the door into his head, then punched him after.
That transcript isn’t edited. It’s word for word from the audio of the trial.
Edit: I should know it isn’t ‘heavily edited’, because I’m the one who wrote it as I listened to the trial audio.
Edit 2: Confirmation she has a habit of chasing him into the bathroom:

Because no domestic violence victim has ever lied about where they got their bruises, right?
“I fell” or “I walked into a corner/doorframe” when people ask.

DONT FALL FOR THIS
Tumblr media
If you see someone using this image to “prove” that the attack on capitol was orchestrated by antifa, don’t believe it. the man with the short hair is Matthew Heimbach. He is a neo-nazi, and planned the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville. Click here for his wiki article.  He was posted on the Philly antifa website to announce him as a nazi.
Tumblr media
Here is the second fake photo.
Tumblr media
This man was NOT a pro-BLM protestor. Here is the full version of the picture on the right.
Tumblr media
This man is Jake Angeli. He is a QAnon influencer, also called the “Q Shaman.” Q (Qanon) is a far-right conspiracy theory. You can read more about it here.
Here are some links about him:

The original post in question:
Tumblr media
People with autism have a difficulty catching sarcasm, and they know this. It’s a daily struggle. I work with people who have disabilities everyday. This person was wondering if you actually meant that all white people should unfollow you because, honestly, I also would have thought you were being sarcastic.
Your response to them asking if you were being sarcastic was to be ableist, and that’s disgusting. There’s no excuse for that. Ableism isn’t progressive.
Before you try it, no, I’m not white. I also don’t condone racism of any kind, systematic or otherwise. You fall under otherwise. But that’s not the point I’m targeting here.
Also, a little added bonus of assholery I’d like to take note of from your buddy:
Tumblr media
Really?
me: if youre white and we're not mutuals then unfollow
white people: oh man this is so confusing i cant read all of a sudden what could this possibly mean? im so confused? what is he talking about?? this post has me utterly mystified

Update: Faith Cheltenham is stepping down as president, and being replaced by Juba Kalamka. The organization has seemed to have retracted their claim on the bisexual flag.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I knew it’d only be a matter of time.
Here’s an article: https://www.ebar.com/news/latest_news//291980/online_extra:_binet_usa_president_to_depart_after_claiming_ownership_over_bi_pride_flag
An organization called BiNet USA is claiming copyright ownership of the bisexual flag, and its President wants people to pay to use it.
I found my place in the LGBTQA community a long time ago, and while it isn’t uncommon for threats to emerge from the outside, it appears one has reared its head from within with dollars signs in their eyes.
In 1998, bi activist Michael Page created and unveiled the bisexual flag. He wrote, “The intent and purpose of the flag is to maximize bisexual pride and visibility. This bi flag is for free public and commercial use. As a result of volunteer work I was doing for BiNet USA, it occurred to me that if bi people were going to be visible at home, pride events and political rallies, we needed a Bi Pride Flag!”
You can read the rest of what he wrote here: link
This is a tweet from BiNet USA two years ago:
Tumblr media
While BiNet USA has previously done tons of great work for the bisexual community, something appears to have happened that’s caused quite a stir.
Days ago, without consulting board members, BiNet USA’s president, Faith Cheltenham, tweeted out to a small creator who sold pride merch about their usage of the bi flag. (From my research, this creator uses the funds for activism)
Tumblr media
They then went out to tweet this:
Tumblr media
And then encouraged people to send them messages if they saw an unauthorized person using the flag:
Tumblr media
There were also tweets like this, where the president called out others:
Tumblr media
And then this:
Tumblr media
As expected, the backlash on Twitter was loud, large, fierce and immediate, so much so that Bi Net USA deleted their Twitter page (which had around 13k+ followers). Their remaining account is a newly made one called the binetcollective, while the president continues tweeting on her personal Twitter, thefayth.
Many users have taken care to screenshot her posts as evidence.
Not only is she doubling down, but she has taken to doxxing/outing members who have stood up against her.
Here is one example. (A user who screenshot her post as evidence took the liberty to block out the name to protect the emailer’s identity, so as not to potentially out them):
Tumblr media
I’m not entirely sure what she means by white bisexual supremacy, as race has nothing to do with why people are upset with her, and the subject of race does not come up in the email, which is a copy and paste email multiple people are sending:
Tumblr media
That little black line is something Faith underlined herself.
Here is a statement from one of the board members:
Tumblr media
Now, all that being said, can you copyright the bi flag?
According to copyright guidelines: no.
A simple, geometric design with three colors is not eligible for copyright.
Trademarks are another matter, but thus far there is no record of a copyright or trademark on the bisexual flag, so if the President is sending out C&D’s to stop people from using it, they could get themselves into a world of legal trouble and open themselves up to lawsuits.
While she claims to have been contact with Michael Page, saying he has given her the okay to do this, no one has heard from the man himself in years.
My take? Many small creators create pride merch, and that’s totally alright! It increases visibility. The bi flag, or any like flag, should not belong to any one person. It belongs to all it represents! One should not have to ask for permission to use it.
The narrative BiNet’s president is creating is dangerous, and there needs to be a serious conversation about what they are trying to do.

Another board member has resigned, though the word ‘amicable’ implies it was not on bad terms:

Just a heads up, because I haven’t seen it discussed much on here: Faith Cheltenham, the person directly responsible for BiNet USA’s attempt to copyright the bi pride flag at the expense of indie queer creators, is actively doxxing and outing people who criticize her on her personal twitter account @/thefayth. She has posted the full names and contact information of several people, and at the time of this post has refused to remove them. Please be careful, especially if you decide to contact BiNet directly to criticize her behavior.

“all bisexuals are greedy” stereotype is actualy just statistical error. The average bisexual isn’t particularly greedy. The current leadership of BiNet USA, who has tried to claim copyright ownership over the bi flag that has been in use for over 20 years and has been making a fool of themselves demanding license agreements on Twitter, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.

UPDATE:
President Faith Cheltenham has doubled down, and board member Lauren Beach has resigned. There has been no apology thus far, not even for the doxxing. Not entirely sure why the confederate flag was brought up, since it really hasn’t much to do with the whole situation:
