A Random One Shot I Found In My Notes App

Summary: This is a one shot with my OC, Ki, and Tenya Iida from My Hero Academia. It’s a zombie apocalypse AU.

Warning: There are guns and character death. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ki had left about an hour earlier to grab supplies for herself and Tenya. She ran back to the house they were staying in, trying to avoid any of the infected that could be around. When she made it back, she opened the door and kicked her shoes off. "Tenya! I'm back!" She hollered through the house, not bothering to put her backpack down. When there wasn't a responce, she started looking around. "Tenyaaaaa I got your favorite fooood!~" There was no responce like last time. She walked up to the door of his room. She knocked. "Tenya, you in here?" All she could hear was heavy breathing from the other side of the door. She cracked open the door and saw Tenya crouched over what it looked to be was a pile of black goo. His face and hands were covered in it. Ki dropped her backpack and rushed over to him. "Tenya!-"

Tenya looked at her with a scared expression. "Stay away from me!-" His hands were stuck out in front of him as if they were to protect him.

"No- Tenya- Why didn't you tell me?-" Ki's voice cracked. "Why didn't you tell me you were bit?- I could have done something to prevent it from spreading!-" she quickly grabbed her backpack to see if there was anything in there to help the current situation.

Tenya looked at Ki with a saddened expression. "I've been like this for four days. I didn't tell you because I didn't want to worry you!-"

Ki looked at Tenya. "It's my job to worry about you!- How would I be a good girlfriend if I didn't worry?!-" She practically sobbed.

After looking through the backpack and finding nothing, Ki flipped it upside down and emptied the whole thing onto the floor. She started rummaging through the pile again and again until her hands came across the pistol she kept in her bag for emergencies. Her eyes started to water.

Tenya looked at the pistol and then Ki. "Ki I'm sor-" he was cut off. "You can't be sorry!-" she sobbed. "There's nothing we can do to stop you from becoming infected!-" Ki tried her best to hold back her sob, but she only sobbed more.

Tenya weakly grabbed the pistol that was previously under Ki's hand. "Shoot me-" was all he said.

Ki sniffled. "Wh-what?-" "Shoot me-" He repeated. "Tenya no- I can't-"

"SHOOT ME GODDAMN IT!- There's no other way to save me!-"

Ki looked at the floor and bit her lip, trying to prevent herself from crying again.

Tenya pulled her into a tight hug and she tightly hugged back. "Would you rather see me dead, or see me as one of the undead?-" he questioned in a soft voice.

This had completely broken Ki, but she shakily got up and grabbed the pistol. She pointed it at his head. "I'm sorry-" she whispered before pulling the trigger.

The pistol made a loud 'bang!' and she watched as the bullet lodged into his head. Tanya's body went completely limp and fell to the side. Ki dropped the gun and rushed over to him. "Tenya!-" she choked our his name as if he were to respond. When there wasn't a responce, she screamed in out sorrow and held the dead body close to her own body as she sobbed into it. She stayed like that for what it seemed like hours before her eyes grew heavy and she fell asleep with a tear stained face.
