The acronym "afaik" is FAR too aggressive for what it means ("as far as I know"). Not only does it sound sharp and pointy it also sounds similar to "fuck" which is an aggressive word.

I think "tmk" ("To My Knowledge) would be waaay better suited as it doesn't sound sharp or like a swear word and therefore more closely matches the tone of it's meaning!!!
