In your college au, what’s a fun fact about frisk you haven’t mentioned before?

frisk can drive but gets around on a bike most of the time because other members of their family needs the car all the time. and they sure like to get around. whenever theyve got free time (which is usually the night bc their days are filled with club activities or other social events- and because of this they migjt have accidentally spawned a couple urban legends about a creature that prowls at night) theyve got this habit where they run around the city to look at people or nooks and crannies nobody knows about, like a secret spot tucked away behind some buildings where stray animals gather.

what im saying is that theyre like an rpg protagonist

college chara is writing a short novel (just for fun) titled Thanatophobia and its a story abt a man who slowly descended from hurting to killing people in a deranged attempt to distant himself from emotional pain and its sort of an outlet for them whenever they think about their past experiences

asriel used to make a game called SUPER FRIENDSIM: Undead Loneliness and its a cute platonic “dating” sim that also has rpg mechanics and the final boss is. well. an evil version of himself clinging onto the past and he made the game to cope with the grief of losing dess holiday. he still thinks about finishing making it sometimes.

together they merge their ideas into the same story called Underfables and you guessed it charas part is the “massacre” route and asriels part is the “friendship” route

im seeing everyones love so idm this one message (which made me geegole) but On That Topic ive always wondered whats the point and satisfaction in anonymous hate on the internet? because when you feel strongly negatively about something and believe youre justified to say something about it, should you not also be willing to fully stand by your belief as your authentic self, not hiding, and be ready to defend your view? its this... lack of passion or sincerity i dont really get. its like youre not ashamed to let me know but also ashamed enough to go anonymous, so like, why? why say it with so much conviction if you cant let anyone see you standing by it? wheres your anger? wheres your rage? why leave a mark on this world if you dont want it to say you were here? if that makes sense.

idk if i was so passionate abt sth i felt i needed to say it out loud i wouldnt do it while refusing to back it up. why should anyone take my belief seriously if im scared to myself

Are Frisk and Chara actively in a relationship in your au, or pining, or something else? And does Chara's distrust come from a personal experience for them or because they believe nobody would want to be friends with them?

im glad youre asking but its hard to answer this kind of things about au/canon characters i like to play tuoys with because i dont think of the status of fictional relationships like checkboxes? like its not really selecting an answer in "is it romantic? yes/no" "is it platonic? yes/no" and it stays that way, confirmed, true, canon, forever. i like to play with different possibilities and its hard to settle on anything, i guess you can say im indecisive. but in a way where im having fun. if i decided their suffering is funny to me there will be mutual/one-sided pining. if i decided itd be yummy if there was romantic tension between them then it shall be that way. if i wanted to explore platonic dynamics then just friends they will be. what im saying is they can be anything to be honest but i do gravitate toward the idea of them having romantic tension (mostly chara tbh theyll lose sleep over being rizzed up by that stupid weirdo and think about everything they ever said and by god they will hate it meanwhile frisks just like "ya i like them and i bet...........................they liek me too........"), and im a sucker for happy endings so happy nonbinary yuri to many of you! as for charas problems yes i like to think they had an unfortunate past with their family and peers which made them a cynical person when it comes to relationships? so they dont actively make friends anymore and generally wont take shit or compromise if someone insists to befriend them anyway, at least at first. they are aware this makes them somewhat unpleasant to many and theyve accepted it, until frisk came along and could maybe change them a bit for the better.
