No disrespect for Kaner but Johnny is the better shoot out player by a mile haha, especially earlier in their career. That’s why we have the Kaner mesmerized by Johnny shoot out moves at World Juniors lore. Doesn’t surprise me he took this long to catch up. % wise I think Johnny is still better.

jonny's shootouts are my favorite bc everyone and their mom knows he's gonna go five-hole but we also all know he's gonna score. honestly, hawks fans have just been blessed to have 1988 for their shootouts for so long! jonny would score before you noticed it and kaner had the super flashy highlight goals and it was glorious to witness both together
