A comic of Robespierre being transported to modern day America, freaking the fuck out, evading giant monsters (totally not cars) and only barely understanding a bit of english, having an existential crisis, and a near heart attack.

Description from Drouot : Two very rare dressed effigies of Robespierre and Saint Just or Bailly (?), Revolutionary period, circa 1792. Figures and limbs in painted beeswax, real hair. These "dolls" representing Maximilien de Robespierre (1758-1794) and probably the deputy Louis Antoine de Saint-Just (1767-1794) are part of the tradition of the cult of great men established during the French Revolution. These could be productions of the ceroplastician Philippe Curtius, famous for his "Cabinet de figures" at the Palais Royal in which "he represented great men and illustrious notables. A patriot since the Revolution, he exhibited the figures of: Lafayette, Bailly, Mirabeau, Danton, Robespierre and other deputies of the Constituent Assembly...”
Aren't they cute ?
