I'm convinced that if Fenris had been part of the Veilguard team, the evanuris would have been struck down WAAAAAY sooner. I mean, evil mages trying to force slavery on the WORLD? That's everything Fenris hates, in god form. This man would've never stopped hunting them, and probably could've done some serious damage with the lyrium branded into his body. No one would've been able to control the absolute FERAL RAGE he would have been channeling. They had to keep him away. He's the perfect counter to the gods.
