Anyone who was in the LGBTQ+ Teens group chat and wasn’t able to join our discord, or even people who weren’t in it but want to join can message me for the invitation link. I’m not posting it openly here though because there’s also a lot of creeps on Tumblr. I’ll miss all of you

#lgbtq #queer teens #lgbtq teens #group chat #I understand that Tumblr needs to make a profit and maybe not enough people used gcs to be profitable #but you would think that keeping group chats around would still be more profitable #than driving a significant portion of their users away from Tumblr entirely #I mean imagine discord’s reaction to this #I certainly never would’ve signed up if not for this mess #I cannot stand discord but it was a last resort #not to mention the fact that the majority of Tumblr users are teens/young adults #and basically the gayest of all the social medias #and Tumblr just took away crucial safe spaces for noodles knows how many lgbtq teens #and that’s without even getting into the post plus issues #so while I’m sure there’s many valid reasons group chats had to go #and it probably sounded like a solid idea to executives more concerned about a bottom line than their loyal users #this is going to have a real impact on a lot of people #and whether they care or not Tumblr needs to know that
