David presses a quick kiss to Matteo’s lips. The corner of Matteo’s mouth lifts.

“Okay,” David says, a little more shyly than before. Matteo is ducking his head, the tiniest smile still playing on his face, his cheeks a little pinker than before, and not just from the morning chill. David’s never kissed a boy in public before, and he’s certain that Matteo never has either.
