Actually otherkin didn't originate on tumblr. The first online appearance of otherkin appears on AHWW not Tumblr. We know we are human, all we do is identify on a non physical level.

Cisgender people aren’t automatically transphobic just because they’re cis.

White people aren’t automatically racist because they’re white.

Men aren’t automatically misogynistic, rapists or abusers, just because they’re men.

Everyone can be racist to everyone else of a different race. Reverse racism doesn’t exist, it’s just racism, everyone is capable of it.

Anyone who lies about rape accusations should receive prison time.

Everyone is entitled to a proper course of justice in the court of law.

Transgender men should be put in men’s prisons, transgender women should be put in women’s prisons.

People who are incapable of looking after their child should not receive custody over the other parent.

What an Otherkin REALLY is.

Otherkin: Á person who identifies as non human on a NON PHYSICAL LEVEL. There are several types of otherkin identities.

Therian: Someone who identifies on a non physical level as a nonhuman earthen animal.

Plantkin: Someone who identifies on a non physical level as a plant

Mythkin: Someone who identifies on a non physical level as a mythical creature.

There are many more but those are the most common. Otherkinity has nothing to do with souls/past lives/psychological stuff, although the reasons that someone may identify as otherkin may stem from past lives, or souls, or psychology.

What Otherkin is NOT

Otherkin is not a non binary identity and has nothing to do with gender. Kingender are invalid and so and kinsexualities and kin neopronouns.

Otherkin is not a mental illness or uwu speshwul identity. Otherkinity dates back to several years ago, although the first online appearance of otherkin appears on AHWW not Tumblr.
