day thirty
saturday october 9
Today I woke up around 9:30, killed a half hour on my phone, then got in the shower and began my routine. My objectives in terms of homework were clear, but I needed caffiene so I walked to the nearby market and got a pair of yerbas.
I ate some grapes I threw in the freezer last night (if this sounds odd idk what to tell you I’ve been doing this since before I could remember), a clif bar, fruit strips, then finally a jack’s pizza. Of course I had to preheat the oven and have it bake for about 15 minutes, but more important information is that it was original crust (all they had) and supreme flavor.
Once the food was gone, I had a dose of cbd and opened a yerba to begin working on homework. Depending on the task at hand, I swapped between 32 thoughts podcast and a playlist of lo-fi hip hop on apple music that is lyric-less.
As I finish this post I am still sitting in the same position, working on homework and eating an oatmeal choco chip cookie I was gifted.

friday october 8
Song of today: HIT EM WHERE IT HURTS by pawpaw rod
This will likely be a short entry as after waking up, I did little other than sketch and play video games. During this time, I consumed graphite, pages out of my sketchbook, an episode of Pod Save the World, internet bandwith, about a gallon of water, electricity for my computer, phone and headphones, as well as the AC to keep it cool on a warmish day.
I also ingested a daily vitamin, a probiotic, some oat milk, a clif bar, two fruit strips, and finally cbd.

day twenty-eight
thursday october 7
I woke up later than usual for a thursday, but commenced the routine immediately as usual. This was followed by h2o and cbd, as well as a banana and oat milk. At this point I grabbed my keys and headed out, listening to Pod Save America on the way to st. paul.
I parked, then walked into mcneal for class from 11:45-1:45.
Once I left, I paid my fare and continued my drive home. On the ride and after, I was listening to Mac Miller’s GO:OD AM album from years back. It dropped at a spicy time in my life and holds a significant piece of me. I ate some chicken and drank some oatmilk while watching a twitch stream.
I returned to campus for discontents, again finding a metered spot and saving a few bucks and a few minutes.
After class was over, I returned home and did some homework before turning in early.

day twenty-seven
wednesday october 6
Another wonderful wednesday, starting with my routine, listening to 070 Shake’s Modus Vivendi album.
After arriving on campus I make a bee-line for mcneal as I was just a few minutes of class beginning when I parked. Luckily I am a world class athlete and was able to walk at a moderate pace to mcneal and make it on time. Proud.
Once class finished up, I went to the printing room and used the plotter for a quick $0.60 mock print, then retrieved my car and went home.
Here, I cut my print and made some adjustments to the working file on Ai. Next, I made some chicken for lunch and checked canvas before taking off again.
I returned to st. paul in advance of class to do some work, listening to more 070 Shake (absolutely phenomenal voice and lyricist). I then climb some stairs and round a corner to get to class, to then do this in reverse a short time later when released. I got my car, paid my fee, and went home where homework and lofi hip hop filled the rest of my night, with a clif bar or two thrown in the mix.

day twenty-six
tuesday october 5
Today, being a tuesday, means I have time after waking up to get ready, get a snack, and get to campus ahead of time in order to pump out some homework. I do so eating a clif bar and a banana, listening to some old Frank Ocean; Nostalgia Ultra mixtape.
Once on campus, I again head to magrath library and sit by the windows and get to work, utilizing Ai, Id, and MS Word. Before heading to class at mcneal, I stop by the Gopher Spot in the union and grab a V8 energy drink, blueberry acai flavor with 115mg of caffeine, meaning I’m sold.
Class runs from 11:45-1:45, then I’m back on my way home. Today’s lunch window is extended a bit more than usual considering I will not need to return to campus; discontents was held over zoom. So, I make myself some chicken and spanish rice and relax while watching twitch.
By the time 4:30 rolls around, I haven’t moved much and thankfully did not need to. I pull out my computer and join class. We peer review some essays, then are released around 5:40, at which point I return to twitch for a little while.
After this point, homework fills my evening, and my late lunch/ early supper sustains me until sleep.

day twenty-five
monday october 4
I woke up with the usual lack of motivation I have on monday mornings, but as I was going to put on one of my usual weekly/bi-weekly podcasts, I saw that Dissect had a new episode. I listened to the “teaser trailer” for this newest season (s9) last week, but as the name implies the subject is a hinted at secret. Little did I know that this long-form musical analysis podcast would take season 9 to discuss every moment of Mac Miller’s Swimming album, as well as his posthumous Circles album. I have listened to nearly all other seasons which include analysis on Frank Ocean, Tyler the Creator, Childish Gambino, and Kendrick Lamar to name a few. So this was an unexpected but very welcomed surprise to kick off my week.
I listened to s9 e1 while carrying out my routine, and on my way to campus. Already I was ready to binge the rest of the season, but this show is one-a-week and thus patience was necessary.
After my class ended at 11:45ish, I returned home opting for a silent drive instead of the usual audio. I stopped into my place quickly to grab a few supplies and a lunch of microwaveable pad thai before hopping in the car and returning to campus to get a head start on an upcoming deadline. This process of course included the usual exiting of ramp, paying the fee, burning fossil fuels, electricity consumed by microwave, more fossil fuels, and re-entering the ramp.
Once class began and ended, I hung around mcneal a while longer to continue working. By the time I returned home I was ready to munch and go to bed shortly after.

day twenty-four
sunday october 3
Being able to sleep in usually implies that I will do just that. I did just that.
Before actually getting out of bed, I watched some clips of a tournament that took place last week. Once caught up I got up and ate a clif bar in addition to oat milk and cbd.
I played video games on my computer for an hour or two, after which I did a little guided workout, had a lactose-free protein shake, and a bunch of water.
I took some time after showering to work on homework, followed by chicken, then video games for a while longer.
The day ended with some stretching and Mac Miller’s posthumous Circles album.

day twenty-three
saturday october 2
I neglected to take any photos while there, but my roommate and I went to the NE Farmers market first thing this morning. I purchased a cold press java which I later noticed a dead insect in, at which point I tossed it before having the opportunity to drink any :(
We also purchased a couple spring rolls (so simple, so good), some fresh potatoes, carrots, brussel sprouts, and zuchini.
After we got back to our place, we cooked up the brussel sprouts and zuchini for lunch and I made some coffee after the first of the day was tarnished. We then hung out at a friends place across town for a while, during which little was consumed other than conversation and a couple beers.
Eventually returning to our place, it was about time for bed but fit into the intermediary was a movie called The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, a wes anderson film (favorite director other than Christopher Nolan) starring a knockout cast scene above.

day twenty-two
friday october 1
This friday had a non-typical physical deliverable deadline on campus, so I was up bright and early and made my way to mcneal with the fuel of yerba, cbd, and water in my veins.
Upon arrival, I made my way to the printing room where I spent about $0.30 on a plotter print, listened to Spittin Chiclets while cutting and finalizing the print, and went upstairs where I had some more mockup photography to do. Once turned in, I went back home.
Here I made some chicken and watched damn near a season of All or Nothing, a documentary series on Amazon Prime revolving around the Toronto Maple Leafs NHL organization’s journey over last year’s season; very in depth, and thus very interesting. I snacked on some dutch chips, had some oat milk, and returned to homework for a while before bed

day twenty-one
thursday september 30
This tuesday felt quite slow moving and a bit melancholic although I am unsure as to why. Getting up felt this way, but I went through my routine, had some water & cbd, a clif bar, and then I was on my way to continue my day.
After class and paying my parking fee, I decided to stop by Target on the way home and get some more Grapes, Oat milk, and chicken. Once home, I consumed an amount of all three before packing up and going to campus to work on more homework.
I continued this until class resumed, then ceased, then I went home again.
Here I spent most of my evening watching The Mandalorian on Disney+ and sketching.

day twenty
wednesday september 29
Up around 8:30, I listen to Pod Save The World while carrying out my typical hygienic routine.
Entering here is the caffeination via Yerba, followed by driving to campus, jumping through the parking hoops, and into mcneal for History of Gdes.
Afterward, I drive home listening to PStW and thinking about food as well as sleep. These two combine to result in another doordash order, also from Banh Appetit like before. I devour it while watching some Dear White People.
Once done eating I returned to campus early to do a couple hours of homework at mcneal, listening to Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon III album.
Once done with Symbols class, my debt is paid and iron stead released from the binds of the for-profit car prison, and I am on my way.
Now back at home, I pay rent, check on the bills of utilities, and return to homework and music. Dear White People rears its head again and I cannot resist the temptation, so I give in and watch until bed.

day nineteen
tuesday september 28
After rolling out of bed, I ran through my routine, grabbed a clif bar to go, and headed to st. paul.
Again coming ahead of class in order to work on homework before class. I heard that an old mixtape of Mac Miller’s was being released on streaming services sometime in october, but they also re-vamped the artwork for it (pictured here) from its original version which was entirely flat. I really appreciate that whoever is in charge of his posthumous impact put in the time & energy to rework the classic artwork, while not entirely changing that which it is. Anyway, I had this tracklist on rotation all day in the background.
After class ended at 1:45, I drove home and ate some oatmeal before taking a cat nap and returning to campus at 4:30 for discontents. Following this and returning home, I turned my attention to recreational drawing before watching twitch and going to bed.

day eighteen
monday september 27
Woke up late on this beautiful monday, then showered and had a breakfast consisting of h2o, cbd, banana, yerba, and a clif bar. After doing some Ai & Id work, I threw some chicken on and feasted.
Driving to st. paul was livened by listening to 32 Thoughts pod. Parking on this day and time allowed for the cheaper alternative to the ramp: the meter. I would only be there for 2 hours or less, which allowed for the option, so my total parking costs for the day reached an all-time low at $2 for 2hr.
After class, I stopped at the gas station closest to my home to fill up, costing another $37. During this exchange and into my return home I was listening to 99% Invisible, extending into my preparing of potatoes. Said potatoes were of the Little Potato Company, and I had myself some mashed taters for dinner.
After eating, I returned to homework working on Ai, Id, and MS Word.
Thus ended my day.

day seventeen
sunday september 26
After the slumber ceased, I ingested a pint of dihydrogen-monoxide and a serving of cannabidiol. I then began an episode of The Daily by NYT as the sunday episode is not news, but instead a, “sunday reading,” of a narrative style column.
Next came the yerba, oat milk, applesauce, and mandarin oranges.
I finished the sunday read and queued 99% Invisible while doing some work on illustrator. Twitch followed, then netflix’s Untold: Breaking Point.
I cracked open a Sneaking Suspicion sour ale, ate some Giants dill pickle sunflower seeds, played the previous day’s The Daily episode, and pounded out some more work on Ai and Id before bed.

The fans were on once again when I woke up today, add it to the electricity bill.
Insert typical routine here.
Once dressed, I add headphones and a hane’s mask to my garb and walk to Sentyrz Market where I retrieved more bananas, marshmallow mateys, oatmilk, and yerba while listening to 99% Invisible on spotify.
Upon my return, I have some cereal and fruit while watching Sex Education on netflix, then move onto playing video games for a few hours. I stop to make some chicken, then sketch for a while before going to bed.

day fifteen
friday september 24
Woke up around 9:00, went through my typical hygienic routine, then consumed some water, some cbd, and a clif bar.
After watching some Netflix, I listened to an episode of Pod Save America while sketching.
At this point a played a number of hours of video games to decompress a bit. A break was taken to make chicken during which time I listened to The Daily podcast by the New York Times (~30 mins/ day), followed by Spittin Chiclets, a podcast about the NHL, run by a couple retired NHL players; less analytical than 32 thoughts, and more player-centric conversations and discussions. I think barstool sports has a lot of problematic everything, and although they purchased this podcast a few years back, I don’t think of it as a barstool podcast (otherwise I probably would not listen), I listen for the insight of the hosts.
To follow this, I returned to video games for another significant tranche of my day. Although it was unproductive, it was relaxing.

day fourteen
thursday september 23
This thursday began a little later than usual as my 11:45 class at mcneal was actually meeting at Rapson’s digifab studios at noon, so instead of going to mcneal early, I slept in a bit. Once up, I went through my normal routine while listening to Dissect podcast on spotify. The episodes I was listening to today were from an old season which discussed Tyler the Creator’s Scum F*ck Flower Boy album. Additonally, I consumed some h2o and CBD before departing.
I drove to east bank and parked in one of many ramps, then walked over to Rapson about 30 minutes in advance where I resided in the architecture library which I used to frequent before covid. I then rendezvous’d with my peers in the courtyard before our “field trip” began.
Once finished here, I walked back to the washington ramp where parked and retrieved my car before heading back home. I listened to another episode of Dissect (same season) on my way back and after arriving home. I ate a microwaved korean sweet chili noodle as well as oat millk while watching twitch.
Upcoming class summoned me back to st. paul where I parked, walked, class-ed, walked, un-parked, and retreated to my habitat yet again.
After working homework for a while, I made some spanish rice and listened to more dissect before plopping down in front of the netflix machine and wasted the rest of the day away
