The Pain

Losing someone we love is never easy. May it be break-ups, distances and especially death. It all resemble one face, the pain. Pain is scary. We fear pain because it demands to be felt. It’s scary to think that we will never get another chance to spend our days and nights with those person. Scary to have the thought of only missing them. But maybe, only maybe, in another place in time we can have the chance to meet them again.

Some says that “If a love comes back, it actually never left” but I don’t think so. Because if that is truly love, it should never leave in the first place.

Real Talk

Nakapagtanong ako bigla sa isang ka officemate ko about failed relationships since napagdaanan niya nadin naman 'yon.

I felt sad about Kuya Ralph's and Ate Michelle's love story. They've been in a long term relationship. Nagsimula sila since highschool hanggang sa nagkatrabaho. Pero kahit pala gaano na kayo katagal, hindi pa rin pala 'yon basehan na kayo na talaga forever. Darating at dadating ang panahon na aayawan mo na ang relasyon ninyong dalawa. 'Yung tipong sawa na kayo sa paulit-ulit na bangayan, sa mga suyuan at lambingan, sa pag-iintindi at pagtanggap ng mga mali. 'Yung pagod na kayong dalawa para ipaglaban pa ang isat-isa.

Tinanong ko si Kuya kung talaga ba'ng minahal niya si Ate Mich. Kasi di'ba? Bakit mo susukuan 'yung taong mahal mo?

Sabi niya 'Oo. Syempre. Hinintay ko 'yon ng tatlong taon'. Doon ko narealize na may mga bagay na dapat pakawalan para hindi na lalong masaktan.

And I think that's a heartbreaking goodbye.
