I know with me the main issue I had was being able to find my start menu to be able to navigate everything. If you go onto your desktop at least and ignore the rest of the apps as much as possible it's not so bad. If you want you can actually download this one program that will give you your windows button or whatever it's called in the bottom left corner again. I know with me after that it seemed to get easier for me. It's a program you can download called Shell Classic Start Menu found here if you're interested. Another thing you can do is if you're transferring links and that is if you have Skype create a new group chat thing but don't add anyone to it, just have yourself in the group chat and have Skype open on both computers **I would HIGHLY suggest downloading the desktop version of Skype instead of using the one given with Windows 8 because I couldn't figure that version out at all** With it open on both computers whatever you paste into one Skype Chat will appear on both so it's far easier to transfer links that way. I'm not sure if programs will work the same as I didn't think to try that so you can possibly try sending yourself stuff to download that way too, if not maybe use an online storage site like mediafire or something to upload everything to and then download it to your new laptop. Hopefully this helps a bit? Also, if you're having one issue I had that drove me NUTS being every time you go to shift your mouse over it flipped it over to the next app or whatever. What you can do is hover over the right hand side, click on settings, and go to change pc settings. Then go into General and it's under App Switching. You want to shut that second tab off. It'll say something along the lines of 'when I swipe along from left edge' or something like that.

What are you having issues with?? Maybe I can help? I finally am able to use my laptop that has Windows 8 on it and I don't hate it... not a huge fan, but I don't hate it at least.

The Treats of the Holidays [Pyreflights Open ]

{家族}—;;  Raine was happily humming along as she mixed up some more batter, some flour already on her cheek and in her hair from earlier when she'd accidentally put some a little bit too quickly into the bowl. It was her own ingredients of course as she knew she always got a little messy when she baked. Especially around this time of year. She wanted to surprise everyone in this little vacation home of theirs with some tasty treats of many different kinds. 

Some were already in the oven baking happily away. She also had some chocolate chip cookies and some cupcakes cooling on one of the tables nearby. This was honestly one of her favorite things about the year, baking all the goodies that were such favorites of everyone. She just wished she could have done this more with her own family before she'd to say goodbye for a bit but that didn't matter. She'd be able to correct that mistake at least a little bit now after all. 

Raine had just finished mixing up some dough for some sugar cookies and was using the rolling pin to flatten it before she made some fun little shapes with them. It was something that her and Ellone used to do often and this was her favorite part when she was younger, making Raine miss her little girl a bit again, however they were happy memories and it made her smile all the same as she worked.

Hey everyone!! Aichi here! Or, Kai if you prefer. Either way. Just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas from Raine and I. Exactly!! A very Merry Christmas to everyone. It's a very special time of year that everyone should spend with their family! I've baked some cookies for anyone who would like some!! Leon, I never explained this to Ellone, or even you father and definitely not to you of course. I mean you were just a baby at the time so even if I had explained it you wouldn't have even understood me I'm sure. What I mean to say is, the reason why I left you and Ellone there, the reason why I wasn't there to raise you. I had always planned to be, but the timing just wasn't right. These creatures that you're fighting now, these... heartless. I think I've seen them before. When you were only a baby creatures that looked so much like them were always attacking me... they were coming after me nonstop for some reason. Even now I don't know why. I just knew... that if I didn't leave when I did they were going to hurt you and Ellone. I just knew it somehow and I couldn't let the two of you be hurt because of something I did. I always meant to tell your father that I had to disappear for a bit. I always meant to tell him he had a son, that he should go and get you guys from that orphanage as soon as he could, but the creatures, the shadows they didn't give me that chance. I regret not being able to even leave a note of some kind, and Ellone I'd told her not to tell anyone the truth. I'm sure the poor girl after a while actually believed that the story I gave her was the truth and I deeply regret that. I just hope that she's okay too, that one day she'll be able to forgive me for abandoning her just like before. Leon I'm so sorry you never got to know your parents, that's my fault. I don't expect you to let me in now, not after the mistakes I've made, but please at least allow your father to be a father to you. He adored Ellone, and he would have adored you too had he known. He adores you now I can feel it. Please don't take that feeling away from him because of what I did...

Now Leon, sweetheart. I know you're well experienced when it comes to fighting but you do realize that the battle of a young lady's heart is a much different battle right? Don't listen to everything your father says about this if you listen to him at all or even ask him about it. While some of the things he says will be helpful not all of it would work for the kind of girl you may be going for. Perhaps just... pass anything your father says by me first and I can tell you whether that would be good advice to go on.
