“I’m sure Iku’s fine, she can handle herself” Tenshi shrugged and sipped her tea, or rather gulped it down and put down her teacup “The Sword’s what I’m most worried about, I don’t know where it is and I know nobody took it, it just kind of... vanished” The celestial was awfully vague about her situation but then again she probably didn’t know much about it either

“Also, I just came to see if you were still alive or if you had kicked the bucket yet” The celestial grinned and giggled “Can’t I just come for a visit?”

I know I owe two or three replies, but I don’t know if you guys would want to keep up the rp or retcon it and simply start a new one

OOC: I’m back!

After months of inactivity, I’d like to announce that the blog is back in action (something that I’ve probably said 15 times now)! Due to a series of misfortunate events about 3 months ago I was left homeless, granted for a couple of days only (and obviously was without internet), about two weeks and a half ago I got Internet connection again and tonight this new rp blog thebreezymaiden run by a friend reminded me of the existence of this blog. So, hello people!

“I’m already down here in your shrine you silly miko” Tenshi pointed out as she sat down in front of Reimu "Thunder granny.” She repeated and chuckled, rested her arms on the table “We got split up a while ago, kinda surprising how easy it is to get lost y’know?” the celestial shrugged and took the teapot and poured herself a cup without a care in the world

“I don’t have the Sword of Hisou anymore, I’m actually looking for it. Iku was supposed to help me but now she’s lost” It was more likely that the blue haired one was the one lost but she’d never admit that.

"You suck"

“Don’t make me go up to heaven to beat your- oh whatever, just don’t touch anything” Reimu sips from her cup of tea, not caring really about the celestial.

“So… where’s the thunder-nanny? I thought they were keeping a close eye on you since the last… accident”

OOC: I’m back!

“All of these things have been either treasures or souvenirs I’ve found in my way” Tenshi put her backpack aside and turned to Renko and all of her luggage “You’d be surprised by all the things you can find in these lands” The celestial picked up the hilt and blade of the broken sword and put them together “You find a lot of things buried in whole buildings that end up in Gensokyo, like ruins of a temple. Or in the case of this thing, a spirit of a brave human who couldn’t rest until it got a good fight” She explained before dropping them on the floor

“I could use something to eat” Tenshi stood up and smiled. The idea of a hot snack that she was not going to pay for sounded very appealing “I could tell you more on the way there and while eating”

The revealed rice cakes and red beans from the crushed box just kind of made the young woman rub the back of her head in slight sadness.

“After we get your pack together, there should be a lamprey stand not too far from here. I’ll buy you something from there that we can eat.”

Renko did have giant curiosity of the white crystal, and picked up a nearby stick. She swung it under it to make sure there wasn’t something under it holding it up, or even a gust of wind. She then poked the crystal with it, causing it to slightly gust over a little but return back to stability.

“So.” she said throwing the stick behind her back. She then started to pick up a few of the safer contained things to put back into the backpack. “What is most of these things.”

“No no, I don’t think you can carry me and this luggage” Tenshi shook her head “No offense, but this thing on my back is pretty darn heavy” she pointed at her oversized bag before reaching for one of the side pockets of it and took out an ornate orb that seemed to be split in two. A flash of light came from inside and a second later, a large blue bird with feathers that looked like clouds was next to the celestial

“This fella helps me move around if I need to fly” Tenshi said, pattigns its head “Kogasa, this is Altaria. Altaria, that’s a new friend, Kogasa” The large bird chirped, seeming pleased to meet the karakasa

“Whoah-!” Tenshi jumped to the side and instinctively raised her hand and swatted the inch ling off of her shoulder. Quickly taking a step back, the celestial took a look at whatever, or whoever jumped on her shoulder. It was.... a person? But she was tinier than anything bipedal creature she had seen before.

“Hey there little fella...” Tenshi wasn’t sure she’d be approaching her so friendly after slapping her into the ground “You okay?” She certainly had caught Tenshi off guard “This is the shrine of the Hakurei shrine maiden you know?”

The celestial’s boisterous voice was not that of an individual that Shinmyoumaru recognized, but those shouts caught her attention nonetheless! Peeking around a corner within the building, she opted to have a look for herself, cringing slightly at the din Tenshi was making. She took mental notes of her appearance: blue hair, rainbow-hued dress, backpack…

Peaches. The inchling could hardly believe her eyes, but those indeed were succulent peaches adorning the stranger’s hat. To think of them going to waste like so, worn instead of eaten? Downright unjust. A crime in itself. Surely something she’d put an end to, she quickly vowed!

First off, however, a proper greeting. If there was a more effective method to make herself known than pouncing on the celestial’s shoulder, then it wasn’t one that came to Shinmyoumaru’s mind in time to trump it.

“Helloooo! I don’t think I’ve seen you around before!”

“That was a joke, lighten up” Tenshi smiled “don’t worry, the dead can’t speak” she said with a shrug and excused herself into Hakugyoukurou, walking past Youmu

“This is the Land of the Dead. What do you think?” Youmu greeted Tenshi from the top of the not-quite Endless staircase. “You mind not shouting? You’ll stir up trouble with the spirits.”

“I uh... I can’t fly” Tenshi almost gagged when she tried to admit that she didn’t know what about of 99% of the non human population of Gensokyo knew to do. “Iku used to lend a hand with that. Nowadays I have Altaria help me out with it, if we really need to fly”

Tenshi carefully laid down the crushed box and slowly opened it, revealing several flat rice cakes with its red bean filling spilling out of the sides. Her head dropped with a sigh and with her thumb and index finger slowly picked up one of them, pouting. Dropping it, she remained still for a few seconds before going back to looking into her backpack with much less enthusiasm

“I have...” Tenshi reached into her bag and took out a shining white crystal, which she promptly threw behind her but instead of dropping on the ground it kept itself a few above the ground, hovering and spinning in place.

“Watch out” Tenshi said as she dropped a blade of a sword, which perfectly fit the broken hilt of the sword. The blade was large and curved, a rapier’s blade. it soon was followed by a couple of bronze bracelets engraved with emeralds. and... that was it. Tenshi had grabbed her backpack from the bottom side and shook it, only some dirt and a couple of smaller jewelry came out.

“Well, that’s about it. Guess I should’ve cleaned my luggage earlier, I forgot I had all of these things”

With every item that exited the backpack, Renko could not suppress her curiosity much longer. She seemed like a little kid with her habit of picking up every new thing. She tugged to open the book, despite the complicated lock. The fang she picked up and examined it on all sides, she couldn’t place what it could have been. She put the bottle of glowing jelly close to her face to look at it. Was it… bubbling? She opened one to smell but quickly grimaced from it and closed the bottle again. The colorful feathers looked great and she put one into a sleeve on the band to her hat. Geology never interested her so she kicked the rocks to the side while picking up the hilt to the sword and swinging it around.

“What else do you have in there! You have so many things!”

“Wait, hold on...” Tenshi patted something inside her backpack. it seemed... flat. Looking for an edge, the celestial took a second to slowly start to take it out. Slowly, a very large book with thick, somewhat damaged leather hard cover and yellow pages came out of her backpack. It had straps on each side that looked like it held the oversized tome together. The one of the side had a large lock on it with an intricate looking keyhole. Tenshi took a quick look at the book before carelessly dropping it on the ground. Soon after, more interesting items began to pour out. An oversized fang accompanied by several large scales, small bottles of glowing jelly like substances, a handful of long colorful feathers, several rocks which seemed to be different minerals, a broken hilt of a sword

“I think I picked all of this up over time and totally forgot about... it...”  Tenshi grew silent and frowned, taking out a crushed box from her backpack “Aw man, I was saving these souvenirs!”

With the loud ‘thud’ that shook the ground a little, it made Renko temporarily in flight for only a quarter of a second. Still, impressive weight to shake the earth. This only made her more curious as to what she could have inside the pack.

Watching the Celestial with interest, she stayed quiet for the other. The book was an attraction, but she let the questions she wants to ask for later. It was probably something to study or read when alone.

“So far these all look like standard travel fare.” Maybe a few more of somethings then others however Renko doesn’t know this persons needs so, maybe they don’t need a lot of food for enough travel time a few sets of clothes can provide.

“Well, there wasn’t much from where I came from”  Tenshi shrugged and pointed behind her “Most deifnetly not that way> Why don’t we just follow the road ‘till we find something?”

“Hello! Anyone alive here?!” Tenshi yelled at she pushed open one oft he doors of Hakugyoukurou and walked in. This celestial certainly was going to be a loud guest.

“What is up with shrines and stairs?!” Tenshi cursed as she finished climbing the last step towards the Hakurei shrine. She leaned down, resting her hands on her knees and catching her breath before wiping off sweat from her forehead. Once she recovered and caught her breath, Tenshi looked up at the shrine and smiled. Instead of walking forward towards the front entrance and the donation box, the celestial began to walk around the side of the shrine. Surely Reimu was slacking off again in the porch, drinking tea. Tenshi giggled at her own imagination.

“Reimu! I came to play!” The celestial said out loud, jumping in front of the porch. A Reimu-less porch. Putting down her oversize backpack on it, she climbed the porch and slid open the doors to the shrine

“Reimu! .......... Reimu?”

Tenshi waited for a couple of seconds, but she didn’t hear a single response. Was Reimu not home? She’d usually be scolding Tenshi for making such a racket. The celestial knelt down and began to undo the knot on her boots and slid them off, something she should’ve done before stepping on the porch, and took a step inside. It didn’t reek of sake either, so Suika mustn't be around. Surely someone was home.

“I think most folk don’t appreciate being startled” Tenshi chuckled at her own comment, even if she spoke it very quietly. After a few moments, the celestial grew silent, seemingly lost in thought

“Hey, here’s an idea” The smile on her face quickly came back “Why don’t we stick together for a bit? I’ve got no place in mind to go to right now either, and I could help you distract some whoever we meet soon-to-be-victims and surprise them”
