So, the kiddo showed me a video game she liked that made her think of me. It's called "Flower". And let me just say, after seeing her play so much Sonic and Persona, not only was it a nice departure...
...but she hit the nail on the head! Especially that last level! (Not the credits, the one before that.) Seeing the flower petals dance about in the wind, making new flowers bloom and causing such extraordinary things to happen...I was awestruck by something that seemed so simple. (Those controls were frustrating, though--she had me play it.)
You did good, kiddo. You did good.

I finally got some alcohol to drink last night! Been craving that stuff since I got into the system, and the kiddo isn't an alcohol drinker. (She actually had a good chunk of it, to my surprise...)
Unfortunately for me, the drink wasn't sake, but a glass of plum wine. It was still good, though.

I'm a bit early in this timezone, but happy solstice! With a new season comes a fresh coat of paint for the place. Since it's winter here, I had an image of falling snow and a layer of frost against green leaves, perhaps ones of rather hardy trees of this time of year.
I already have ideas for spring and summer in mind, and I wrote down all of the colors I changed for both autumn and winter so I can use them again when those seasons come back around.
