like she destroyed what she believed was their main chance of rescue (and whether or not it actually was isn't the point. She THOUGHT it was and destroyed it anyways). she blackmailed a grown man into "liking her", she was going to drug him in order to have sex (I don't fully blame her for the everyone drugging but again. her intention was to drug Ben to have sex). she (possibly?) pushed the person she thought of as her best friend off a cliff to keep her secret from everyone else. she has manipulated everyone around her time and time again in, yes, "unhinged" ways.

but cutting off coach bens leg was a completely sane decision on her part

i get annoyed everytime someone brings up Misty cutting Coach Ben's leg as something "unhinged". it's not Misty's fault his leg looked like spaguetti

drives me crazy thinking about how Shauna said how much she HATED feeling like Jackie possessed her and controlled every decision she made

only for her to turn around and be the one to possess Jackie. she literally consumes every possible thing about her. physically, emotionally. I mean she literally takes over her life, marrying Jeff and staying in Wiskayok to have a family. poppies everywhere, on her dress, on her wedding cake, in her house. she allows Jackie's parents to treat her like I'm sure they probably actually treated Jackie (because even though all they do is compare Shauna to Jackie, I'm sure if Jackie was still alive they'd be just as critical of her)

Shauna hated their codependency but ultimately she was the one who couldn't let it go
