One of these days there's gonna be a big mainstream anime that has a "protagonist has to be a girl for a little while" arc like SAO and Re:Zero or whatever but it will actually commit to just having the protagonist be a girl for the rest of the series and she'll clearly be happier and just never boymode again and everyone in the show will refer to her as a woman and it's going to take like five years for all but the most clocked in people to notice because most people stopped watching after the first season because there was a several year gap before season 2. And the people actually reading the light novels might bring up the girl arc when it starts but it's old hat at this point like of course there's a girl arc and the realization that the protagonist is staying that way will only hit gradually and at some point someone's going to be like "hey new season of popular show is coming out you should all watch it" and someone will ask "ugh does the protagonist ever get less shit" and it'll be like "yeah she transitioned" and all the tgirls will end up going back to this show they watched one season of half a decade ago and it will be mid as hell . Solid 6/10
