What is the “targeted” stuff that’s been happening lately that the recent asks are talking about /genq?

from what I see it’s mostly people expressing the kinds of characters they want to see in new Melliot work, and thoughts on the popularity of Vambrose over Quincent. I guess you could think the anti vambrose stuff is targeting someone, but those confessions have been more about general trends in the fandom, not specific users as far as I can see? (And it’s also a pretty obvious observation to anyone who’s been in the fandom for a bit — in fan art and stuff, there’s an equal amount, if not more, of Vincent with the white guy who had an unrequited crush on him than Vincent with his actual partner. Unless vambrose shippers are just a vocal minority.)
