Good Omens on Amazon was pretty good! I enjoyed watching an angel and a demon become friends over the course of thousands of years. The ending felt a little dull compared to the rest of the miniseries, but I can definitely see myself watching it again.

Watching
Holy shit the second season of Fleabag was amazing. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is delightful and I love her. I'm also in love with the priest. Thank god Phoebe gave us a second season! Watch it on Amazon.
OMFG that Killing Eve season finale! I won't give away any spoilers, but damn what an incredible show.
iZombie season 5 premiered on the CW and it's zombies versus humans. There's a shortage of brains in the quarantined city of Seattle after people finally realize that zombies exist. I'm not as into the zombies versus humans thing, but I still love the brain cooking sequences. If they just did a cooking show about brains, I'd probably love it.
There was another amazing episode of What We Do in the Shadows on FX where the vampires try to host a vampire orgy. It doesn't really go as planned.
Jane the Virgin is such a great fucking show. I don't want to say anything about it, because it's too easy to spoil. Just watch it on the CW.
I watched the utterly maddening Catch-22 miniseries on Hulu. It was absurd and funny sometimes, but mostly it was devastating and frustrating. The show focuses on the bombardier John Yossarian played by Christopher Abbott, yet another (and possibly the hottest) famous Chris. Nicknamed Yo-Yo, the hot bombardier spends most of his time trying to go home only for his plans to be foiled by the circular logic of war every time he comes close. There are only six episodes and it is very well done.

RIP Feminist TV
Along with abortion rights, voting rights, and pretty much all basic human rights, here are some more feminist things that have been cancelled:
Dietland
Sweet/Vicious
I Love Dick
One Mississippi
Good Girls Revolt
RIP women. We had a good run.

Can't Wait to Watch
Fleabag season two will FINALLY be available on Amazon this Friday! Cancel all your plans and stay in to watch it. We've only been waiting forever for season two. I can't believe you even made plans on Amazon's Fleabag Season Two Premiere Day. What were you thinking?
After you finish watching Fleabag, switch over to Hulu for Catch-22 which also comes out on Friday. The trailer looks promising and George Clooney executive produced the show. It's an ambitious adaptation, but seems to have pretty good reviews so far.

Watching
OMFG Tuca and Bertie is so good! Created by Lisa Hanawalt, this animated Netflix show is whimsical, feminist, and hilarious. There are only 10 episodes, but you'll discover something new every time you rewatch them. I love everything about this show from the animation and the characters to the music and the dialogue. It's so good. I already started rewatching it and I really hope Netflix renews it for five more seasons.
Other shows you need to watch: Killing Eve, Jane the Virgin, Brooklyn 99, A.P. Bio, Superstore, Good Girls, Fosse/Verdon, and What We Do in the Shadows.
Last week's episode of What We Do in the Shadows on FX was soooo good. Taika Waititi, Jemaine Clement, and Jonny Brugh all reprise their roles from the original movie as well as a few other people who have "vampire" listed on their IMDB page somewhere. I won't spoil all the fun cameos for you so, just watch it.

Los Espookys is a new Spanish-language series premiering on June 14 on HBO. It's a half-hour comedy from Fred Armisen and Lorne Michaels. It's set in Mexico City and centers around a group of friends who love the horror genre. Armisen will star alongside Julio Torres (SNL) and Ana Fabrega (The Chris Gethard Show). I follow Ana Fabrega on Twitter and she's hilarious. I'm pretty excited for this show because this cast is amazing.

Can’t Stop Watching
I can't stop watching Frasier. I hate the oversized suits, but I love Frasier's apartment! It's one of the best TV apartments. Roz, Daphne, and Eddy are my favorite characters and they have great clothes (yes, Eddy too). There's a reason Frasier ran for 11 seasons and it's still fun to watch.
Also, there have been rumors of a Frasier reboot, but let's hope that doesn't happen. Maybe they could just revive it as a podcast or something.

Watching
There are so many shows to watch right now! Currently, I am keeping up with weekly episodes of:
Killing Eve on BBC is amazing and you should watch it. It really is one of the best shows on TV right now.
Jane the Virgin on the CW is in its final season and it is devastating to watch. In a good way.
Brooklyn 99 on Hulu is hilarious and pretty much universally loved.
A.P. Bio on Hulu is very entertaining and I love watching a good schemer scheme fun schemes.
Good Girls on Hulu is also full of schemes, but they're less fun and more stressful and dangerous. I just want them to win all the money and be happy!
Superstore on Hulu is full of lovable characters and I love it.
I also just started watching Fosse/Verdon on FX and I'm obsessed! It's so good! A Vox review called it a show for theater geeks and fans of complicated marriages, which is fair. I wouldn't say I'm a theater geek, but I appreciate some good choreography and drama. I love shows about complicated couples especially when they include Michelle Williams. She is amazing as Gwen Verdon and I'll be surprised if she doesn't win all the awards.

Can't Wait to Watch
Pretty much all the shows that Apple is developing for its new streaming service. It's kind of insane, but I guess not surprising because they are filthy fucking rich. Vanity Fair has a full list, but here are some highlights:
Julianne Moore will star in an adaptation of Lisey's Story by Stephen King with J.J. Abrams producing.
Taika Waititi will direct a Time Bandits series adapted from the film.
Brie Larson is starring and executive-producing a drama based on the upcoming memoir from Amaryllis Fox about her life as an undercover C.I.A. agent.
Jennifer Garner and J.J. Abrams will work together again for a My Glory Was I Had Such Friends adaptation. They previously worked together on Alias.
Oprah fucking Winfrey.
Octavia Spencer and Reese Witherspoon will co-star in a true-crime adaptation of Are You Sleeping.
A video game comedy series from Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day. Um, YES PLEASE.
An animated musical comedy starring Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Tituss Burgess, Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci, Daveed Diggs, and Kathryn Hahn called Central Park. Holy shit that cast you guys!

Watching
Killing Eve is back and has already been renewed for a third season because it's still amazing. Ruthless, hilarious, and sexy af I can't wait for the next episode. The only flaw with this show is that it's not released all at once so we can binge it. When will BBC realize that we need to binge everything?!
I finally watched the pilot episode of What We Do in the Shadows on FX and it's so good. You should definitely watch it whether you've seen the movie or not. It's a mockumentary series about vampires and it's hilarious.
I downloaded all the episodes of The OA: Part 2 so I could watch them at night while camping in the Grand Canyon. And if that's not a major endorsement for this show, I don't know what is. It's the wildest, weirdest, and most unsettling show out there and it will win you over with its sincerity. Watch it on Netflix with an open mind. Like wide open. Get into your sluttiest head space and then watch it.

Schitt's Creek on Netflix is fantastic. I've been bingeing it nonstop for days. I'm obsessed with Moira's accent, an accent that the world has never heard before and is fabulous. This show seemed like a boring sitcom where a rich family suddenly becomes poor, but it's so much better than that and I'm ashamed of myself for ever doubting it. Start watching it asap on Netflix.

Watching
I already watched all six episodes in the first season of Shrill, which is finally available on Hulu. My expectations for this show were probably too high, but I did enjoy it and recommend that you watch it. It's funny and has a beautiful pool party scene that is perfect. I think they're setting it up for an even better second season, because they finally start to address how the minority characters get sidelined all the time in episode 6.
There are a couple new episodes of Good Girls on Hulu. This show is kind of like Breaking Bad, but about three moms who need to make money fast instead of a bald teacher. They rob a grocery store, which leads to even more crime and drama. Watch it for the amazing cast, which consists of Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Retta (Parks and Rec), and Mae Whitman (Parenthood). You can catch up on past episodes on Netflix.

Re-Watching
Now is a great time to rewatch The OA on Netflix, because part two comes out on Friday. The trailer for the new season looks nuts and the reviews have been pretty good so far. I can't begin to imagine what will happen in part two. All I know is that I will want to talk about it. So, get caught up!

Tuca and Bertie is a new animated comedy series starring Tiffany Haddish as Tuca and Ali Wong as Bertie. Tuca and Bertie are two best bird friends who live in the same apartment building (jealous). This series was created by Lisa Hanawalt, the producer and art director of Bojack Horseman. It's one of the first adult animated series from a female showrunner! And the guest stars for the first season include Tessa Thompson, Nicole Byer, John Early, Reggie Watts, Tig Notaro, and Amber Ruffin. It will be available on Netflix on May 3.

Watching
The season 2 premiere of A.P. Bio is now on Hulu! Jack does a bunch of blue collar jobs for his new philosophy book idea and enlists his students to help with research. So start to shut up and watch it everybody.
There's also a new episode of Superstore on Hulu where Amy goes to a class to become a manager and Mateo launches an activist campaign against Duterte (the irl villain dictator of the Philippines).
Lin-Manuel Miranda guest stars in the latest episode of Brooklyn 99! He guest stars in a lot of stuff, but I get really excited every time. It's also just a great episode of B99.
And there's a new episode of Broad City where Ilana has to go to the vet for a disgusting eye thing. It's seriously so gross.
