I'm going to bed rn but hey if anyone is still interested in what brainrot I have to say about FO3, FNV or F04 hmu and I'll get back to ya.

Keep in mind my knowledge is rusty aside from 3 since I'm currently in the middle of a playthrough but I still love this franchise with all of my heart. It was such a source of inspiration and joy for me as I was growing up and I'd love to get back into the swing of things.

Especially since writers block has me on a chokehold. I might clear out my old asks entirely. Who knows maybe I'll delete everything and start f r e s h fresh. But I'll think about it <3

another daily reminder that someone can be a fallout fan even if they've only played Fallout 4 and do not know the ins and outs of every game and the hundreds of thousands of pieces of lore this franchise has to offer, don't put shit on people who don't have the time, money, opportunity, ability or wanting to play the older games and let them be happy with the knowledge that they appreciate what they have seen of the game :)

daily reminder that fallout 3 is an amazing game as is new vegas, and instead of pushing your narrative that one is better than the other you should accept that there are people who like 3 more than NV and leave it at that, I will gladly argue with anyone who thinks otherwise or whoever thinks they can convince me that NV is better than 3 in every dynamic which is just not true in the slightest but let's be civil and let people like what they like instead of putting them down because " fallout 3 is shit" and "new vegas is superior" purely because of Bethesda not being the original developers of the franchise.

Least Favourite Quest/s

FO3; Rescue from Paradise. The kids annoy me way too easily and I rarely complete it thoroughly (using the terminal, distracting fourty, saving Rory etc etc) I just go in guns blazing. THOSE! Also got on my nerves a lot.

FNV; the quest involving Carlitos and Joane, mainly because of how repetitive it gets, back and forth and back and forth between Vault 21 and the Gomorrah. Come fly with me was super annoying too, it's sort of a tie between both of them.

FO4; Trouble Brewin.

This quest annoyed me to no end because of how slow drinking buddy moved. That's it. He was. So goddamn slow.

Kid in the fridge was a bit iffy, I don't h a t e it, but it goes against basically everything we know about ghouls. Stick to your goddamn Lore .

2. For the fallout ask

Creepiest enemy.

Centaurs.

The more I think about it the more I get creeped out over them. While they don't have the biggest impact value of being terrifying at a first glance like Deathclaws, Super Mutants and Ghouls, and they aren't difficult to escape from like Cazadores, in the end they all resemble a humanoid figure or an animal that has always existed.

Centaurs literally look alien.

Atleast with Super Mutants and Ghouls they look human and we recognise what they are, cazadores are giant hornets, deathclaws are basically giant reptilian dinosaurs , whereas with these they're literal amalgamations of several animals and people to the point it's totally unrecognizable on what they really are other than an abomination that looks nothing like anything that's ever existed previously.

If it was based on first initial fear they inflict, I'd say mirelurks, I h a t e water monsters with a passion and have a big fear of open water that isn't a pool.....

Top 5 companions you'd be friends with in real life?

Arcade - FNV - I see way too much of myself in Arcade, we're both super sarcastic, gay, hate talking about ourselves, hate ourselves in general and can be a bit of a know it all who always wants to put in their opinion on a topic.

Also super useless. And can be won over with a compliment no matter how small.

Also a bit of a hypochondriac.

Piper - FO4 - I love writing, especially when it comes to explaining situations and drama which is basically her job as a news reporter. Snooping into people's business and finding out gritty details sounds super fun too. Short temper squad ✌

Veronica - FNV - huge big sister relationship, another chaotic lesbian with daddy issues, sarcasm and coming off a lot ruder than intended because both of our humor is dark and/or unintentionally insulting

Fawkes - FO3 - I can't really explain why but I feel like me and Fawkes would get along, like a little sister big brother protection squad yknow. It'd be pretty uplifting to have a giant green man follow me around everywhere, since I'm huge pansy who can't deal with confrontation.

Preston - FO4 - I just can't help but be overly nice and put other people before my own, people also categorise me as being annoying and persistent

Old World Blues - FNV - the dialogue, environments, enemies, weapons and simply the entire experience makes me love this DLC to bits. Not to mention it reveals so much about the lore of New Vegas with the think tank and the shit they did to the Mojave.

The Pitt - FO3 - I can't really describe exactly why I love the Pitt, the experience just really interest me, especially finding the ingots in the Steeleyard. The weapons are p cool.

Lonesome Road - FNV - I just love the story that intertwines through the DLC with Ulysses and find him to be super interesting, as is the whole story of the divide

Point Lookout - FO3 - Not so much for the main plotline but everything in between, especially with the Blackhall side quest and everything to do with the krivbeknih and Dunwich.

Nuka World - FO4 - I HAVENT PLAYED IT IT JUST LOOKS SUPER COOL AND I DONT LIKE SNY OF THE OTHER DLCS IN FNV AND FO3 THAT MUCH

Top 5 companions from any game?

Charon - FO3

The first ghoul I'd lay my life down for so passionately, a tragic and interesting backstory that I'm so mad didn't get expanded on, and plus he's so good in combat??? Literally could go on and on on how much I love this man

ED-E - FNV

If it weren't for lonesome road I'd say it'd be mostly, if not only because his perk; it's by far the best {to me atleast}, but with the addition of a story linking him all the way back to Fallout 3 and his history with the family during his journey?? I'd protect this floating metal ball with my life man.

Hancock - FO4

He's just so chill man, a comedic relief not to mention an honest man who lives by his word??that's so difficult to find in the wasteland within areas/factions that aren't fully developed unlike the BOS and Minutemen. I just love him what more do you want

Arcade - FNV

Mostly for himself as a character, I won't lie and try to say he's the most optimal and efficient companion, but I just love him. Mostly because I can relate to him in a lot of different ways :^)

Boone - FNV

Both for his character development and how good he is as a companion in terms of combat. His perk is easily one of the best next to ED-E compared to the others. I also just admire him a lot and his strength as a soldier.

Who are your favourite NPCs (non companions) in 3, NV and 4????

I'm gonna try and not include NPCs that have to do with missions. LIKE I'm so thirsty for Red Lucy but she has a quest, ++ we can get with her so... idk I wanna focus on NPCS that never really get much attention gamewise

Gob. Hands down he's my baby. Along with Nova and Three Dog but Gob is my number 1 NPC.

Bethesda did him so dirty that we couldn't either pay off his debts to Moriarty so he can go back to the Underworld to Greta, or better yet get a situation where we can kill Moriarty without Megaton being pissed off (because come on, how in the fuck would he NOT have some sort of dirt that would make Lucas be "um... nah sis" and have Lone kill him)

No cap I've been writing a fanfiction between him and Charon don't @ me I just want both of them to be happy.

New Vegas

Vulpes. Even though he has a few small quests, I feel like he should've been included a lot more? I mean he's literally one of Caesars right hand men and highkey should've been a companion???? Obviously after the players established the fact they want to side with the legion. Wouldn't Caesars dumbass want some sort of protection for the singularity that would eventually lead to the legions victory?? And if not that, then atleast some sort of monitor incase they decide to rebel??? Either Vulpes or Silus woulda been perfect for it...

Captain Zao is a huge runner up, but with his quest which focuses solely on him I feel like the game did a lot of what it could, though I feel like he should've atleast become a companion option, especially if he came back after a while claiming he couldn't find his family or fellow soldiers and had no reason to stay... he's just a cutie but thats probably just the ghoul fucker side of me showing djejdj

With that in mind... I'd have to say Drummer Boy. I just found him really interesting and like... he's so pretty??? I can't be the only one who thinks that. I can't really explain why but I just gravitated towards him a lot smh

Glorys also kickass but we've been knew. And Magnolias a sparkly Piper and non-sparkly Piper already makes me super gay so 👀👀
