So i'm getting my Master's in speech pathology and i'm also a songwriter. I combined my powers and analyzed your entire album @taylorswift . I found a few interesting patterns. I found 6 difference types of rhyme schemes: couplets, triplets, tails, monorhymes, alternating, and a new one i'm calling The Swift because i'd never seen it before (It's the first verse of Miss Americana before the prechorus) . On "Lover" you rhymed approximately 184 times. Your most common rhymes are couplets (53%) and you like to alternate them. You also liked using monorhymes (4 or more rhymes in a row) most in your bridges. 19% of your rhymes were triplets, and you used the exact same rhyme scheme in both verses of your songs 44% of the time. Finally, you almost always wrote in ABABCB form (verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus). 83% of the time to be exact. This took me a few hours but it gave me a much deeper appreciation of your songwriting skills and inspired me to write more. I hope you see this and find it somewhat interesting. 😊

Hearing that voice memo of her singing Lover to Jack and then watching her perform it at the vmas...just like that Taylor Swift takes a song she wrote alone in her room to a song thousands of people sing back to her. It's truly amazing. I was so inspired I sat down and wrote a new song in like 30 min. (I mean it still needs a verse but its gonna come eventually). This is bullshit and I hate to say i've seen it first hand from a producer i once worked with. He thought he could get more from me and he took advantage of me. This is why im not in the music industry. As for Taylor, the only thing I know for sure about her is that when people do Taylor wrong, she goes to her notebook.
