Friends: Phoebe Buffay Wasn‘t Supposed To End Up With Mike Hannigan

Any Friends fanatic will know that, in the end, Phoebe Buffay got her fairytale ending, marrying Mike Hannigan in a snowy outside wedding.

They’ll probably remember every single detail of that wedding too, from their exact vows to Mike’s dog’s name.

We know we do.

However, in news that will make everyone who was rooting for Phoebe to end up with scientist and Minsk-enthusiast David, it turns out the show was meant to conclude in a different way for Lisa Kudrow’s character.

In fact, David was actually supposed to return from Minsk and woo Phoebs again, with those two ending up together.

Admitting he ‘didn’t know’ going to Minsk was the end for his character, Hank Azaria told the Huffington Post: “The plan always was kind of to bring [David] back.

“I think, honestly, what happened was Paul Rudd is so awesome that they sort of found a groove with him and [my character] became more of just the grist for that mill. As opposed to the other way around.”

He continued: “It actually did sting a little bit. Whatever part of me is David the science guy who went to Minsk, which admittedly is probably a small part of me [laughs], but that part of me wanted to end up with Phoebe. So I was sort of sad when I didn’t.”

Hank added that Paul Rudd (who played Mike) is a ‘handsome devil’, saying: “He certainly has gone on to prove that he was comedically deserving of Phoebe’s love.”

How different things could’ve been, eh?

I’m A Celebrity: Helen Lederer Signs Up

She was originally rumoured to be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house, but now, it’s reported that Helen Lederer may be heading for the I’m A Celebrity jungle instead.

Another day, another I’m A Celeb rumour to make us seriously excited for the upcoming series.

Fans were disappointed when, despite her name being included on the leaked line-up, Helen didn’t enter this summer’s Big Brother house on launch night.

The Absolutely Fabulous star later explained what happened, telling the Evening Standard: “I think they thought they saw me going into the hotel which the producers put the contestants in.

“But it wasn't me, it was Sam Fox. We do look similar from behind, you know.”

Now though, a source has ‘confirmed’ to The Sun Online that Helen has signed a deal for an appearance in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

It’s alleged that bosses were close to signing her for Celebrity Big Brother, but that, after ‘weeks of negotiations’, Helen pulled out of plans ‘at the last minute’, holding for ‘more money’ from the jungle-based ITV show.

Other names rumoured for the next series of I’m A Celebrity include Nigel Farage, Spencer Matthews (and his ex girlfriend) and Michael Jackson’s former doctor, Conrad Murray.

Strictly Come Dancing: Brendan Cole ‘Ruled Out’ Of Judging Job?

The rumours surrounding who could step into Len Goodman’s shoes when he sadly steps down from his head judge role after this series of Strictly Come Dancing are continuing to roll in.

However, according to new reports, one person who may not be in with a shot is professional dancer Brendan Cole, with bosses allegedly feeling that he might be ‘too cocky’ for the job.

Those in charge reportedly feel Brendan would ‘clash too much with other judges and contestants’, and that fellow dancer Anton Du Beke would be a better fit.

It’s also believed that they are considering hiring a female judge to increase diversity.

A source claimed to The Sun: “Brendan is one of the show’s most popular dancers but his outwardly confident nature would cause problems on the panel.

“He’d certainly be up for the role given his experience, but Anton is the hot favourite. His critiques would go down well with both contestants and viewers watching at home.

Brendan does, though, have experience in the hot seat, having been a judge on New Zealand’s answer to Strictly.

In response to all this, a spokeswoman for Strictly told the paper: "All our focus is on preparing for this year’s series with Len and Brendan both integral to the show."

Jeremy Vine And Tina Daheley Are The New Crimewatch Presenters

Jeremy Vine and Tina Daheley have been announced as the new presenters of the iconic BBC show, Crimewatch.

The programme will boast a ‘brand new look’ and a ‘refreshed format’ when it returns with its new hosts this autumn, when it will start broadcasting weekly for the first time.

Jeremy and Tina will be taking over from Kirsty Young, who announced she was leaving the show after seven years at the end of 2015, saying it had been a ‘great privilege’ to work with the Crimewatch team.

Speaking about joining the series, Jeremy said: “I grew up watching Crimewatch. It is one of the most powerful programmes the BBC has ever broadcast with the power to change and save lives, and of course, to solve crimes.

“To present it is a great honour and with this new format Crimewatch will be even more at the heart of the BBC One schedule.”

BBC Radio 1′s Tina added: “I also grew up watching Crimewatch and I feel very privileged to join a programme that’s allowed ordinary viewers to help bring criminals to justice and make our communities safer.

Casualty: BBC Tease More Details About 30th Anniversary Special

More details about what we can expect from Casualty’s explosive 30th anniversary special have been revealed, with the BBC teasing new information that’s made the episode sound EVEN better.

As if having EastEnders legend Pam St Clement as part of the cast wasn’t enough, it’s been announced that Josh Griffiths, played by Ian Bleasdale, will return to Holby for the special episode.

In the feature-length extravaganza, Josh returns to the infamous hospital to help celebrate Charlie Fairhead’s amazing 30 years of service to NHS.

However, it’s not all surprise parties and fancy cakes, with Josh actually finding himself getting his hands dirty in the Emergency Department as news of Connie’s accident (in which Steph forced her off a cliff edge in a dramatic car chase, as shown in the last cliffhanger episode) reaches the hospital.

Connie and her daughter Grace’s car is lying at the bottom of a ravine, with all hands on deck to try and save them as their lives hang in the balance.

Describing how it felt to return to Holby, Ian, who was on the show for 18 years after joining in 1989, said: “My first feeling was of slight apprehension, and the first scene of the first day I had to deal with a technically complex script!

“The medical advisor, Pete Salt, looked at me and said ‘Ian, you know what to do’ and I did! Great cast and crew, fantastic director and producer. I felt completely at home again and loved it.”

Steve Hughes, the episode’s director, added that it was a hugely complex task to film the ‘ambitious stunt’ that forms the centre of the special, explaining: “When Series Producer Erika Hossington, told me about the ambition for the episode, I couldn’t believe we’d attempt to do something that big!

“Even before my preparation started, I had numerous conversations with my stunt coordinator, Julian Spencer.

“Between us we decided to attempt to shoot the sequence practically, for real rather than using CGI. It would make things incredibly complicated, but the end result, as I hope people will agree when they see the episode, would be worth it.

“There would be CGI involved to add to the practical effects, but we wanted the sequence to feel terrifyingly real. We wanted the whole episode to have a feature film quality to it, without having a feature film schedule and price tag.

“The main stunt was shot over two days using various stunts, VFX and rigging teams. We shot about 16 stunts in those two days and everyone had an amazing time, some of the most fun days I’ve ever had on a set - it was a blast!”

The episode, which runs for one hour and 40 minutes, airs on Saturday August 27 on BBC One. We can’t wait!

Is Simon Cowell On The Road To Quitting His Smoking Habit?

Simon Cowell is reportedly working towards quitting his 80-a-day smoking routine, turning to Vaping to help him kick the habit.

The music mogul has revealed that he’s hoping to cut down on the number of cigarettes he smokes, adding that he doesn’t smoke in front of son Eric ‘for obvious reasons’.

According to The Sun, Simon has spoken about his efforts to cut down on the habit, explaining: “It is a bit of both. The idea is to cut down on the number.

“The Vape has been successful. It’s a good one, it tastes nice and sweet. My driver was on 40-a-day and he has cut out smoking completely.

“I’m on 80-a-day now. It’s a step in the right direction. I don’t smoke in front of Eric for obvious reasons.”

He added: “It is hard. I have smoked for a long long time and sometimes it is just habit. But these things do help.”

Celebrity Big Brother: Stephen Bear’s Girlfriend ‘Heartbroken’ After He Kisses Chloe Khan

Stephen Bear’s girlfriend, Lillie Lexie Gregg, has taken to Twitter to react to his kiss with Chloe Khan in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

If you didn’t see, Bear and Chloe locked lips several times on last night’s show (August 4) as part of a ‘truth or dare’ game, with the Ex On The Bear star daring Chloe to kiss him for ten seconds.

The move later resulted in some serious drama, mainly between Bear and Heavy D, with Big Brother making Bear sleep in a separate room to his housemates.

If that wasn’t enough for Lillie to watch, Bear also told his housemates that he didn’t think she was ‘the one’.

Taking to Twitter to react to the scenes, Lillie simply tweeted a broken-hearted emoji to show how she felt, prompting many followers to send their support.

Before he entered the house, Lillie told The Sun that while she wasn’t ‘official’ with Bear, she would not support him if he went astray in the house.

She said: “It’s early days, we’re seeing each other. We’ve spent a lot of time together since we got home and it’s probably heading [towards a relationship].

Lillie added: “I’m fully supporting him [on CBB] and if it’s meant to be then it’ll be and he won’t get up to anything on the program. We had a chat before he went in. 

“He wants to be with me, he wants to make it work and I was just very much like, 'well, obviously it’s a massive opportunity, go and enjoy yourself and if it’s meant to be it’ll be’.

Adele Reveals ‘Mortifying’ Moment Her Card Was Declined As She Tried To Buy Some Clothes

We’ve all been there - You pick up some gorgeous new additions for your wardrobe, only to go up to the till and have your credit or debit card embarrassingly declined, resulting in panic and a very quick exit from the store.

As it turns out, it’s not just us mere mortals who’ve been victims of this, with megastar Adele revealing that her card was declined during a shopping trip in H&M.

Oops.

The Mirror reports that the megastar had been able to make purchases at Sephora, but that when it came to shopping at H&M, things didn’t quite go to plan.

She reportedly told the audience at her gig at San Jose’s SAP Arena: “I went to H&M and my card got declined. Oh my days, pretty embarrassing.

“Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified.”

Kim Kardashian Once Made A Cameo In ‘The Hills’ - But It Was Cut

Before Keeping Up With The Kardashians became quite possibly the ULTIMATE reality show, there was a little show on MTV called The Hills that we were, quite frankly, obsessed with.

And, as it turns out, it was actually The Hills that gave Kim Kardashian her reality TV start, as she made a cameo in the show way back in 2007.

A cameo that was, for some unknown reason, actually cut out of the show. Oh.

Luckily for us, the footage was unearthed as part of The Hills: That Was Then, This Was Now, a special programme celebrating the tenth anniversary of The Hills’ very first episode.

In the deleted scenes, Kim attended a Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s housewarming party, where Frankie Delgado and Kim’s step-brother Brody Jenner were also hanging out.

After being introduced to the other partygoers, Kim was shown Speidi’s arcade room and their jellyfish collection, with Heidi boasting: “We're the only people in America to have jellyfish.”

Kim and Heidi then had a casual chat about attending the VMAs, with the Kardashian explaining: “I leave for Vegas in the morning.”

So showbiz.

This isn’t the first time Kim’s secret cameos have been revealed, with Spencer telling Complex magazine: “She used to call Heidi to organise Heidi’s closet. Kim was edited out of Hills episodes organising Heidi’s closet.

“Now it’s like, Kim Kardashian breaks the internet with her booty. Like, what the f**k?!”

Lauren Goodger Reveals She’s Put Some Weight Back On But ‘Wants To Get Back To Her Peak Fitness’

Lauren Goodger has had an incredible weight loss journey over the past year, going from 13st and 9st and releasing a fitness DVD in January.

The former TOWIE star has now revealed that her sweet tooth has led to her putting some of the weight back on, and that while she’s feeling fine right now, she’s hoping to get back to her ‘peak fitness’.

The gorgeous reality star, who is now a size 12, spoke to new! magazine about her fitness and her ‘addiction’ to Pop Tarts’, revealing: “If I want something sweet I’ll have dates and yoghurt. But I’m addicted to Pop Tarts!

“I’m not as skinny as I was when I released my DVD at the start of the year, but I’m certainly not as big as I was either! I don’t care about having to be a size 8, it’s about how I feel.”

She added: “I’m feeling all right at the moment but I do want to get back to my DVD peak fitness.”

Explaining that illness, life and seeing friends had led to her barely training ‘over the past four to six weeks’, Lauren continued: “[Training] wasn’t my main priority. Yes, I've gained a few pounds but everyone fluctuates in weight - even Victoria's Secret models!

IKEA Respond To Kanye West’s Collaboration Hopes

IKEA have responded to Kanye West’s announcement that he’d love to collaborate with the company on some new designs.

And, sadly, it doesn’t look like good news for Yeezy.

In case you missed it, Kanye recently confessed his furniture aspirations in an interview with BBC Radio 1′s Annie Mac, revealing: “I have to work with IKEA - make furniture for interior design, for architecture and I know that if I do a minimalist apartment inside of a college dorm where the TV goes on the side of the wall…

“Yo IKEA, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes - I want more products from Ye.”

However, it seems IKEA aren’t in a hurry to fulfill Ye’s dreams, with a spokesperson for the company telling Now: “At IKEA we are constantly curious about different people, companies, artists and events around the world.

“To have these connections and inspiring meetings is an important way for us to find new ways to create a better everyday life for the many people.

“Although we are really flattered by Kanye West’s high interest in IKEA and the speculation around a joint venture, we have no plans to collaborate at this point in time.”

X Factor: Louis Walsh Wasn’t A Fan Of 2015’s Judging Panel

Louis Walsh has confirmed, once again, that he wasn’t really a fan of 2015’s X Factor judging panel.

The X Factor veteran is returning to judge this year’s competition, alongside fellow returnees Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and, obviously, Simon Cowell.

They replace Cheryl and newbies Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw, who received mixed reviews when they appeared on the panel last year.

Taking a dig at the former judging line-up in an interview with Best magazine, Louis said: “Sharon and I are old, but that means we’re far more experienced, unlike the young whippersnappers on last year’s panel who didn’t know a thing about talent.

“Sharon and I pushed for Nicole, we didn’t want Rita Ora. It turned into a fashion show. The panel didn’t have the right credentials. They were lightweight.”

Don’t mince your words there, Louis.

Speaking about his return, the judge added: “I’m back with a vengeance.”

His comments come after Simon Cowell admitted they knew last year’s line-up would be tough from the start, telling The Mirror: “When we announced the new line up compared to last year, it was 95% positive, no one was saying it was a mistake and that was what we were getting last year.

“I mean the minute we announced it, it was like f**k, this doesn’t feel great, let’s see how it goes. But it was tough. This year has been a hoot, it has been fun back working with the three of them.”

Zayn Malik Turns Executive Producer On A TV Show About An Aspiring Boyband

Zayn Malik is reportedly turning his talents to television, landing a role as an executive producer on a TV show about an aspiring boyband.

A subject the former One Direction member has a lot of expertise and experience in, of course.

Congratulations, Zayn! We can’t wait to see this.

The singer has reportedly teamed up with the creators of Emmy-winning US series Entourage for the show, which will follow a fictional group through the highs and lows of landing a record deal to global stardom.

Reports claim it’s hoped that the group will then become real music artists with a genuine music career after the show.

A source told The Sun: “This is a big deal for Zayn. He has been keen to get stuck into different projects outside of music and this is the perfect move.

“It’s a subject he knows lots about and he will call upon his experiences to advise the scriptwriters on the show. If the series does well, he’ll receive plenty of kudos in the industry.”

It’s thought that casting will start in LA next month, with Zayn consulting scriptwriters and producers during the process.

John Newman Is ‘Trying To Remain Positive’ After Brain Tumour Returns

We’re sending loads of love to John Newman, as it has been reported that his brain tumour has returned four years after a benign growth was discovered.

A small tumour ‘the size of an egg’ was found in 2012 and later removed, with John admitting he was ‘so scared’ about the diagnosis.

Reports now claim the benign tumour has returned and that a few ‘cancerous cells’ have been found, meaning the singer may have to take some time out from his music next year for surgery and rest.

A source told The Sun: “John’s brain tumour is back. He’s known about it for a while but has kept it a closely guarded secret, confiding only in those closest to him – his mum, brother and a few loyal members of his family.

“Now he’s started telling people because it won’t be long before he takes time out for treatment.

“Although the tumour, thank god, is benign doctors have found a few cancerous cells on it. Fortunately, because the tumour has stayed the same size for a while John's been told that surgery can wait until next year.

“After the operation he'll need some radio therapy so there's talk of him taking a few months off to get the job done and convalesce.”

The source added that John seems ‘a lot calmer’ this time, revealing: “I think the fact he's been through this once before is reassuring. He also totally trusts the team where he goes for frequent MRI scans.”

Billie Faiers Quits The Only Way Is Essex

We’ve got some sad news for fans of The Only Way Is Essex, as one of the show’s favourites, Billie Faiers, is calling it quits.

Billie has been sharing her life on TOWIE for six years now, but is said to have handed in her notice last Friday (July 29) as she aims to concentrate on having her very own reality show, just like sister Sam, who has landed two programmes since her departure in 2014.

According to reports, the reality star, who is mum to two-year-old daughter Nelly, also wants to focus on having more children with fiancé Greg Shepherd and on the couple’s wedding.

A show insider told The Sun that Billie’s fellow castmates are ‘devastated’ that she’s leaving, saying: “Towie bosses were shocked by her exit on Friday and the news quickly spread around the cast. Everyone is already mourning.

“It’s no secret that Billie has a lot on her plate with her young daughter and marriage plans and to top it off she also wants to expand her family at some point.

"She was a brilliant and very funny member of the Towie family and was a natural in front of the camera from day one - producers have told her that the door is always open to her should she change her mind and want to return at some point in the future.

Big Brother: Lateysha Grace Explains Why Marco Pierre White Jr Was Banned From Final

When Big Brother 2016 wrapped last Tuesday (July 26), there were some familiar faces missing from the line-up of ex-housemates who were there to see Jason Burrill be crowned winner.

Along with the twins, Emma and Victoria Jensen (who left or were booted out before they could face a real eviction), Marco Pierre White Jr was noticeably missing from the crowd.

His absence had viewers wondering where he was, with speculation that it was his disgusting rant about, and threats against, his former fellow housemate Georgina Leigh Cantwell that led to him staying away from the big night.

In a Snapchat video, which left Georgina worried for her safety, Marco said: “Georgina you f***ing disgust me. I f***ing hate you, honestly, you make me sick to my stomach.

"You filthy c***. I mean, I could talk about you all day... you're a stupid ugy s***. I f***ing hate you. You make me sick. Do the world a favour and f*** off out of here.”

Now, Lateysha Grace has revealed the reason behind Marco not being there, claiming those threats WERE the reason why he was banned from wrap night.

The former Valleys star wrote in her Star magazine: “Marco was banned from the bash because of the vile threats he made to Georgina.”

Revealing more details of the party, Lateysha added: “Our Big Brother wrap party was one big p*ss-up. Alex and Evelyn finally snogged and I made my peace with Jason for evicting me.”

Sounds like we missed one heck of a party!
